Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Skincare Review

Friday 17 April 2020

Super-duper skincare brand Jurlique have just released a brand new luxe collection, the Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme range. The collection features six brand new products which all feature the brand's signature pure ingredients and give you real results. I was very kindly sent three of the six products to try out and along with my thoughts, I will be giving you an insight into the collection.
The Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme range has been created for ageing skin. The brand took their premier range for ageing skin and made it more effective than ever, and with the help of their Biosome6 Technology, active ingredients penetrate below the skin, not just on top of the skin, to deliver more of their natural active ingredients to it. The carefully crafted process for creating Nutri-Define combines the power of six botanical extracts with their breakthrough liposome delivery system.

The first product I have is the Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Rejuvenating Serum (£86.00 for 30ml), which is suitable for all skin types. Each product within the new collection comes in stunning rose gold packaging and the Serum itself comes in a glass bottle complete with a push-down applicator so you can control the amount of serum you are releasing. The formula itself has a light gel texture to it and feels quite refreshing on the skin upon application. The Supreme Serum firms and re-densifies the complexion to give a more radiant, youthful look and I found that my skin felt immediately softer, smoother and more restored. This silky serum contains the potency of Spilanthes Flower, Horseradish Root and Snowflake extracts which help to reduce the appearance of all signs of ageing. I always recommend using a serum both morning and night, after cleansing and toning the skin. Apply 1-2 pumps of the Serum and gently press and smooth into the face, neck and decolletage for the most optimum results. I leave my Serum to work into the skin for a few minutes and then follow up with a moisturiser. I have noticed that this helps to keep my skin nourished and protected whilst also smoothing out my complexion.
There are two moisturising creams to choose from within the Nutri-Define collection, a Rich Cream and the one I have here, the Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Restorative Light Cream (£75.00 for 50ml). This too is suitable for all skin types and of course has the purpose of being suitable for anti-ageing. As the name suggests, this is a lightweight cream texture that comes in a beautiful glass rose gold pot. For moisturisers that I use both morning and night, I do prefer something a little lighter in texture as heavier creams don't always sit as well underneath makeup. The Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Restorative Light Cream provides a deep delivery of actives from their advanced Biosome6 system, to reduce the signs of ageing and is very moisturising and softening on the skin, which helps promote a more radiant glow to the skin. So, how does it work? The Light Cream instantly absorbs into the skin to restore the skin's natural luminosity. Powered by active youth-restoring botanicals and Biosome6 technology, it quickly hydrates and reduces the appearance of deep lines and wrinkles to leave skin firmer, smoother and more radiantly youthful. After using the Serum, take a small amount of the Light Cream and warm it between your fingertips, then gently press and smooth onto the face, neck and decolletage, both morning and evening.
Finally, one of my favourite products from this newly-revamped collection is the Jurlique Nutri-Define Supreme Eye Contour Balm (£52.00 for 15ml). The Eye Contour Balm comes in a little rose gold glass pot like the other products, and comes with a little metal applicator, and because you get that applicator, it instantly cools down and reduces any puffiness around the eye area. I have always struggled with dark circles and puffiness around the eyes, which I believe is something I inherited, and so I will never completely get rid of them, but anything that can help them look their very best is always a winner with me. The Eye Contour Balm has an instantly refreshing balm-cream texture and provides delivery of actives from Jurlique's Advanced Biosome6 system to help reduce the signs of ageing. The formula contains Alfalfa seed extract and Lupine Protein which work amazingly well together to help with under-eye puffiness and helps restore firmness and brightness around the eye area. The rich, highly-concentrated anti-ageing balm visibly improves the appearance of deep lines, crow's feet and dark circles, but how? The encapsulation of Spilanthes Flower extract, Horseradish Root extract and Jurlique Botanical Blend provides optimal delivery to multiple layers of the skin, rather than just the top layer like a lot of products do, and therefore contour areas look more lifted and toned, signs of fatigue are reduced and luminosity is restored. You only need to use a tiny amount of product and you can of course use your fingers, but I find the applicator is so much easier, to gently guide the product around the eye contour area. I would recommend using both morning and evening for maximum results.
