Thierry Mugler Angel Eau Crosiere Eau De Toilette Review

Wednesday 15 April 2020

I have been wearing Thierry Mugler fragrances for at least 15 years, and they have always been my ultimate favourite fragrances. Whether it has been the original Angel and Alien, or some of his lesser-known fragrances or seasonal limited editions. I just love that heady, musky scent and someone always comments (positively) about the perfume I am wearing when I have a Mugler fragrance on. The most recent addition to the collection is the Thierry Mugler Angel Eau Crosiere Eau De Toilette, and I of course recently treated myself to it as such a big fan.
Angel Eau Crosiere is a limited edition, I believe, and is in the original star shaped flat glass bottle that the other Angel fragrances come in. Except this one has beautiful greens, pinks and blues in the glass and really makes it appear a work of art, and not just a regular perfume bottle.
The bottle design is the same, but the coloured glass was inspired by the electric and vibrant atmosphere in Brazil and this exotic fragrance has a fruity oriental twist on the original scent. Angel Eau Crosiere opens with fig milk and magnolia, fading into notes of patchouli and praline, the recognisable Angel accord. As soon as you spritz the scent on, you get a slight creaminess, and then that is followed by a more fruity, spicy fragrance.

It is still very much Angel, but also more Summery and vibrant and makes me want to go lie on a beach somewhere and then get ready for an evening watching the sunset. Even though this is an eau de toilette, rather than the stronger, more concentrated eau de parfum, because it is a Thierry Mugler fragrance, you still get a large presence of the scent and I found that it was still noticeable during the day.
At the time of writing this, I have struggled to find somewhere online with stock of this fragrance, due to it being limited edition, but hopefully by the time this post goes live, retailers will have stocked up. I paid £40.80 according to my email from Debenhams, but I believe that was with a discount at the time. I have found it online at John Lewis for £38.40 here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
