Lancer Polish + Glow The Lancer Method Anti-Aging Skincare Regimen Review

Wednesday 6 May 2020

I first heard of Lancer Skincare a few years back, from an American You Tuber, and after doing a little research about the brand at the time, I discovered a lot of celebrities used and trusted the brand. Based in LA, the skincare brand is owned by Dr Harold Lancer who trained at the American Academy of Dermatology and who also still treats patients wanting to improve their skin on a daily basis.
Lancer only recently came available in the UK, and so when I spotted a starter kit on QVC, I decided to take the plunge and order it. I saw plunge, because the skincare products are quite expensive, which was why I was on the lookout for a set that might have a discounted price. The Lancer Polish + Glow The Lancer Method Anti-Aging Skincare Regimen contains three products and has a value of £99.00 and is currently available for £80.00, although at the time of purchasing, there was a discount to make it even less.

The regime comes in a gift box and you receive;
The Method: Polish 120g
The Method: Cleanse 60ml
The Method: Nourish 7.5ml
This three-step skincare routine works to help refine, refresh and hydrate the look of your complexion. It combines a gentle exfoliator, creamy foaming cleanser and cushioning moisturiser to revitalise the skin. The Method: Polish is an anti-ageing facial polish which has been formulated to help improve the look of the skin tone and texture. The formula is infused with magnesium oxide and sodium bicarbonate crystals, plus brown sea algae, pumpkin and pomegranate extracts. The Pumpkin and Pomegranate enzymes gently and effectively remove surface debris and dull, dry surface cells to leave the skin smooth and refreshed. The Polish has a warming element to it and a lavender fragrance which I find really relaxing. To use, you only apply once daily, applying it to damp skin and then gently massaging it over the face, neck and decollete. You then rinse thoroughly and you are ready for Step Two.

Step Two is The Method: Cleanse, and this is a lightly foaming cleanser that is enriched with a rice amino acid complex, moisture-rich hydrators and skin soothing agents. It gently removes impurities, surface dirt and sebum for healthy-looking, refreshed skin. The formula is enriched with Aloe Vera and Sodium PCA and preps the skin beautifully for the application of further products. This can be used twice a day, both morning and evening, and you simply apply a small amount of damp skin and then gently massage over the face, neck and decollete. Once you have done then, it is time to rinse and move on to Step Three.
Step Three is The Method: Nourish, a potent, anti-ageing moisturiser which hydrates and provides key anti-ageing benefits. The Moisturiser contains nurturing Avocado and Olive Fruit Oils to cushion the skin in moisture. Hyaluronic Acid and peptides further boost the skin's hydration levels to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles to leave the skin smooth and plump, visibly renewed and glowing. Again, this product is to be used twice a day, both morning and evening, and you apply a small amount to the face and decollete, including the eye area.

I have really enjoyed using this skincare regime, and even though it is fairly pricey, you only need a small amount per application, and so you get plenty of uses from it. It has definitely made a difference to my skin, and it is suitable for normal to combination skin and there are options for different skin types, including sensitive. It has now made me want to try more from the brand, and I might have to order a couple of new products! I got my kit from QVC here, but Harrods and Look Fantastic now also stock Lancer skincare.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
