Natasha Denona Mini Love Story Cheek Duo & Mine Love Palette Review & Swatches

Saturday 13 February 2021

I adore Natasha Denona's mini eyeshadow palettes - the quality is always on par with her larger palettes and so when I saw there was a Valentine's collection releasing, I knew I would need to make a purchase! The Natasha Denona Mini Love Story comprises of the Love Cheek Duo and the Mini Love Palette, along with a lipstick which I didn't get as it wasn't a must-have for me personally, although I have tried one of her lipsticks before and they are beautiful.

The Natasha Denona Love Cheek Duo (£38.00) comes in a pretty, heart-spangled compact full of glitter and hearts that that move around on the lid. The compact opens up to reveal a mirror on the inside of the lid, a cream blush and a stunning heart-embossed highlighter. The coral-pink cream blush is in the shade Darya, which should suit most skin tones as the product is easy to build up should you want it bolder on the skin. The formula is a cream that goes into a powder, so it is easy to use and looks great on the skin without being sticky or moving around the face during the day. The highlighter is a shade-shifting powder that goes between light pink and champagne for the prettiest glow! The formula of the highlighter is also pretty unique as it is a gel to powder texture and so you can go as light or bright as you like without it looking powdery on the cheeks. This is just the most adorable makeup item I have seen so far this year and whilst it is pricier, you are getting two large pans of product and the collector in me is so happy!

If you haven't tried a Natasha Denona Mini Eyeshadow Palette before, I would highly recommend you do! They are priced at £22.00 for five shadows and come in a neat and petite compact, perfect for storing or travelling with. The Natasha Denona Mini Love Palette (£22.00) has a metallic pink background especially for Valentine's Day and contains a mixture of shimmers, metallics and mattes. The five shades are named You - a warm pink metallic, Are - a soft light mauve, My - a deep plum-burgundy hybrid matte, True - a shimmer that looks quite cream in the pan but looks a pretty rosy pink on the lids, and Love - a magenta pink shimmer. They spell out You Are My True Love, which is a super cute and fun addition. The metallic and shimmer formulas are by far the best, and match the quality I have come to expect from Natasha Denona. As you can tell by the swatches, the 'My' shade didn't swatch all that well, but applied to the eyes, it is perfection and the buttery soft formula blends effortlessly.

You can find the Natasha Denona Mini Love Palette and Love Cheek Duo online at Cult Beauty here in the UK here.

All the Loves,
