As I have previously mentioned, Bobbi Brown is one of my favourite high-end beauty brands and they are always bringing out such beautiful products. One of their most recent releases is the Bobbi Brown Luxe Metal Rose Eyeshadow Palette and so of course I snapped it up and tried it out so that I could share my thoughts with you guys.
The Bobbi Brown Luxe Metal Rose Eyeshadow Palette comes in a gorgeous gold shimmery palette which has pinks and nudes on the front. You open the palette to reveal a mirror on the inside of the lid, and then there are eight good-sized pans of eyeshadows. The palette has a rose theme, but there are some transition shades and some neutrals too, and they feature a mix of shimmer and matte formulas.
The shades included in the palette are:
* Calla Lily - Light nude matte
* Electric Flora - Gold shimmer with a pink shift
* Velvet Bloom - Petal pink matte
* Metal Rose - Light pink gold shimmer
* Honey Blush - Pale gold shimmer
* Deep Bloom - A pink-toned brown matte
* Bronzed Petal - A warm-toned bronze gold shimmer
* Pink Blossom - A delicate blossom pink matte
The formula of the shimmers are almost like a cream, they go onto the lids seamlessly, with no chunky glitter particles, and look super smooth on the lids, yet giving the most beautiful shimmer to the eyes. You can use a brush to apply them, however I prefer to just use my fingertip. The mattes are highly pigmented and also have a super smooth formula, so they are so easy to work with, no matter how basic or advanced your makeup skills are.
I think this is going to make such a perfect Spring palette, however the gorgeous shimmers will look so pretty in the sunshine in the Summer months, and the shade Deep Bloom will help you warm up an eye look for Autumn too, so this palette is going to take you all year round. I also tried using the mattes with a dampened eyeliner brush, and they worked so well! So overall, it is a very versatile palette as you could even use Pink Blossom or Velvet Blossom as a blush, depending on your skin tone.
The Bobbi Brown Luxe Metal Rose Eyeshadow Palette retails for £48.00, which is higher in price than a lot of palettes, but you are going to be able to get so much use out of this and the quality of Bobbi Brown products are always insane. You can find it online here.
