Clarins is one of my favourite higher-end beauty brands and it has been for many, many years. They have just released a brand new Foundation and Concealer, which I cannot wait to try along with quite a few other new products. Two of which are the Clarins Limited Edition Sakura Fix' Make-Up and Lip Comfort Oil.
I always had the Clarins Fix' Make-Up spray on my wish list but I for some reason I never ended up getting around to trying it - there are always so many new beauty releases that it is often hard to keep up. However, when I saw the new Limited Edition version, I just had to pick it up. The bottle is adorned with pink sakura flowers and it is so pretty, feeling more like a fragrance bottle as it is made from glass and reminds me of their Eau Dynamisante fragrance, which is still one of my favourite scents. Fix' Make-Up is a light and refreshing mist that sets makeup into place, giving it a longer-lasting hold and it is enriched with organic Aloe Vera to instantly moisturise and soothe the skin. It does have a delicate scent of cherry blossoms and I can also smell a little of the Aloe Vera too, however the fragrance isn't overwhelming, but I do think it is nice to have a pleasant scent to makeup sprays. The formula is oil-free and so it doesn't leave any residue on the skin and it is suitable for all skin types and the spray on it isn't too heavy or wet, you just get a nice amount of product per spritz and it dries down very quickly, so you don't have to wait for it to dry and set. The Clarins Limited Edition Sakura Fix' Make-Up retails for £24.00 for 50ml, which I think isn't a bad price considering the quality and the staying power of the product.
The Clarins Lip Comfort Oil is such a cult product, and the brand have taken many different takes on it, with one of the newest releases, the Shimmer Oil versions which are gorgeous! As part of the new Limited Edition Sakura collection, there is the Clarins Limited Edition Sakura Lip Comfort Oil (£19.00 for 7ml). Just like with the Fix' Make-Up, this is adorned with beautiful cherry blossom all around the lid and the shade is the perfect Spring pink, slightly leaning towards coral, but all together a pop of Sakura pink and I adore it! As with all of the Lip Comfort Oils, it has a flocked applicator that has a wide tip for quick and easy application. There is a delicate cherry blossom scent to it and it has a non-sticky texture, providing the lips with a blend of three aromatic plant oils to soothe, comfort and nourish the lips. You don't get a tonne of colour on the lips as it is a lip oil rather than a lip colour, but it is still pretty and very wearable for every day.
You can find the Clarins Limited Edition Sakura products online at Clarins.
All the Loves,
