Current Favourite Charlotte Tilbury Eye & Lip Products

Wednesday 10 March 2021

I absolutely adore Charlotte Tilbury products - her skincare does what it says it does and her makeup products are just beautiful. I wish I could afford it all! From the packaging to the products themselves, everything is of the highest quality and they are products that work, which I always think is worth spending a few pounds extra on. Today I am bringing you two of my favourite Charlotte Tilbury eye products and two lip products.

Starting with eyes, and the Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Jewel Pots* (£24.00) in the shade Pillow Talk will take your eye look to the next level! There are two shades available but Pillow Talk is such a classic, so it had to be this one. This little pot of joy has a super sparkly jewel-like lid and contains a beautifully shimmering light cream eyeshadow in the universally-flattering nude-pink Pillow Talk shade. This can be worn alone or on top of other eyeshadows to create a more polished look. Whether you are new to makeup or a pro, this is such an easy product to use, simply pop some on your fingertip and blend over the eyelid for a gorgeous shimmer look in seconds. I have quite hooded eyelids, which means some cream shadow formulas can crease very easily on my lids, but this doesn't whatsoever, so if like myself you have that issue or you have more mature skin, this will work amazingly well for you too!

One of the things I love the most about Charlotte's products is that anyone can use them - whatever your makeup skill level, and that is no different with the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Luxury Palette* (£40.00) This neat eyeshadow palette contains four eyeshadow shades in a variety of textures and formulas, allowing you to create endless looks in minutes. There is a mirror on the inside of the palette for on-the-go, when we can eventually go places, and even down to the rose gold pans, this is just beautiful. Included within the palette are a champagne pink shimmer, matte dusky rose, soft matte brown and a rose gold sparkle, which should flatter the majority of skintones. The formulas are seamless and make blending them out super quick and easy. As this is a fairly toned-down palette, but with a pop of sparkle, I find this such a great palette for everyday use and if I want to jazz it up or keep it simple, I have that choice.

Moving on to the lips and I had to include the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat* (£17.00) in the shade Pillow Talk, as this barely-there nude shade is super flattering and I have even been using just the lip pencil on the whole lips as it is such a beautiful shade. The formula is creamy and it applies so easily to the lips, without pulling or tugging, which is great as the lip area is actually quite delicate and I do not want extra wrinkles before my time. I do have naturally thin lips, and so I love to slightly overline them using this as it is so natural, it doesn't look over the top or fake and promotes a fuller, plumper look. I find this lasts most of the working day when wearing it and that is why I like to wear it alone sometimes as a full lip colour and it doesn't 'bleed' on the lips either which some formulas can do.

For lipstick, and let's face it, in current times it needs to be something that can withstand mask wearing, I have been loving the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick* (£25.00) in the shade Super Sexy. Charlotte's Matte Revolution lipsticks are iconic, and there are so many beautiful shades to choose from. They come in a weighted rose gold tube and the formula is super creamy, yet dries matte without drying out the lips - this is definitely by far the best matte lipstick formula I have tried for not drying out the lips. Once applied, the Matte Revolution Lipstick stays on for hours, and it doesn't matter what you eat or drink, it stays put, and I find very little transfers onto my face covering when wearing one, so even once I remove that, I still have great looking, colourful lips. The lipstick has an angled tip and so you can apply it from different angles depending on whether you are lining them or filling the lips out. The colour reminds me of an English dusky rose and complements my skintone perfectly, and with it not being a bold red, it is wearable for every day, particularly now Spring is on its way!
