I know I have already posted today, but I wanted to get this post up as soon as possible as it is a limited edition collection. The Bobbi Brown x Needle & Thread Pretty Powerful Set has been created to be able to give 100% of the proceeds (less VAT) to the UK charity Smart Works, which is by far one of the most generous donations I have seen within the beauty world.
Bobbi Brown has been one of my favourite makeup brands for nearly 20 years - their products work amazingly well and even though they are a more high-end brand, they are worth every penny as they are such quality products. The Needle & Thread pouch you receive is just absolutely beautiful and right up my street - it is a limited edition embroidered pouch that has pretty pastels and so much detail to it that I would be more than happy to use this as a clutch bag (once we are allowed out into the world). I hadn't previously come across Needle & Thread before, but I will definitely be taking a look into more of their products. They are a high end brand, but their clothing is absolutely beautiful.
The pouch contains multi-tasking products that are able to create a quick, fresh makeup look in just five minutes. I love multi-use products and so this is perfect for me. Inside the bag, you receive a full-sized Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in the shade Golden Pink, a full-sized Pot Rouge for Lips & Cheeks in the shade Powder Pink, a mini Smokey Eye Mascara, a mini Soothing Cleansing Oil and a mini Vitamin Enriched Face Base. All of these products are cult Bobbi Brown items and I have used all of them previously, although in different shades for the Shadow Stick and Pot Rouge.
This limited edition collection retails for £52.00, which gives you a saving of £47.00 and then of course 100% of the proceeds (less VAT) are donated straight to the charity Smart Works. The only thing better than makeup is makeup with a cause, and I really believe this is such a wonderful thing that both Bobbi Brown and Needle & Thread are doing.
