Revolution have got us covered when it comes to taking care of ourselves during these strange COVID times. They have a wide variety of products that will help us to keep our hands sanitised, our faces covered, and even help with our maskne!
First up is the adorable Paw Perfecting Facial Cleansing Brush* (£7.00), a dual-sided lilac cleansing brush that features a super soft brush head that helps to dissolve makeup, dirt and excess oil and has a 3D paw print on it and then a side that has innovative silicone bristles to brush away dead skin cells without abrasion to leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. The brush comes in a reusable plastic case so that when we are allowed to travel, you don't get other items in your travel bag wet.
I am sure you will all have come across the term 'maskne', which is acne often caused by wearing face coverings and the Revolution Maskne Lower Face Sheet Masks* (£5.00 for two masks) have been designed to help with this. This lower face sheet mask has been specifically designed to repair the skin from damage caused by wearing fabric face masks and coverings - genius! These fully biodegradable sheet masks are fragrance-free, making them perfect for all skin types, even sensitive skin and are enriched with willow bark extract which contains a natural salicylic acid to help gently exfoliate the skin and prevent congestion. The formula also contains betaine to soothe and protect the skin and hyaluronic acid to rehydrate the skin. You only have to leave them on for 10-15 minutes, so it is a quick and easy way to keep maskne at bay!
I have been using reusable face pads for over a year now, as they are much more friendlier to the environment and are much cheaper in the long run than to keep buying cotton wool pads. The Revolution Skincare Makeup Remover Cushions* cost £8.00 for three large pads in the shape of hearts and are cost-effective and environmentally friendly. The soft-touch microfibre fabric is gentle on the skin and quickly removes all traces of makeup, dirt and grime. To use, simply apply your favourite cleanser to the skin, and then soak the cushions in warm water and then swipe across the face to remove the makeup. It does say to hand wash these, but I normally just put them in with my normal washing and they always come out as good as new!
If you are looking for a pretty, comfortable face covering, then I would recommend the Revolution Reusable Fabric Face Coverings* which cost £10.00 for two. This is the pink colourway option, but there are others available. Each pack of two comes in a usable pouch complete with a zip which is handy to store in your handbag. The face coverings are made with a super soft breathable material and are therefore very comfortable and lightweight to wear. They also feature adjustable straps so one size will fit the majority of people. Once worn, simply pop them in the washing machine and they will come out fresh as new. The pink option features one baby pink mask and one mask that is baby pink but with a pretty black watercolour brush stroke effect.
I have been using hand sanitiser for the best part of ten years, as I used to always get them from Bath & Body Works in America as they weren't really around here in the UK. However, I obviously can't get to America right now, but the Revolution Skincare Hand Cleansing Gel* (3 x 60ml for £6.00) is an excellent alternative. Even though they are pocket and handbag-friendly, you still receive a good amount of product and there are three fragrance options to pick from within this trio. You receive Ocean, Lavender and Coconut, which are all my favourite fragrances and the formula is 75% alcohol, which is stronger than some high-street cleansing gels you can find in the supermarket. The formula doesn't dry out my hands either which is a definite plus in my book!
You can find all of these fabulous products and more online at Revolution here.
All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
