As someone who has naturally fine, fair, short and straight lashes, I am always on the hunt for fabulous new eye products. I nearly always use an eyelash primer and my current favourite is the Stila Lash Stunner Lash Primer* (£19.00 for 8ml). This Lash Primer comes in a sleek gold tube with a regular bristle applicator and the primer itself looks light brown on the wand, but that doesn't really transfer onto the lashes themselves. This is a long-wearing, smudge-proof primer that helps to strengthen, lengthen and add volume to the lashes. The Primer combines spherical and straight fibres with a creamy formula of soft waxes and thickening agents to deliver a false-lash effect look. I find this super easy to apply and as with all lash primers, I like to apply it and then move onto my brows or something to let it dry slightly before going in with mascara. This makes such a difference to my lashes and I have found it even helps to make them look more lifted even without mascara.

For mascara, I have been loving the Stila Magnum XXX Mascara* (£19.00 for 12ml), which comes in sleek black and gold packaging. This has one chunky natural bristle applicator, but because it is so large, but still curvaceous, it manages to grab hold of and coat every single lash, even the teeny, tiny ones! You get amazing coverage from just one use, but if you really want to up the volume, I find this formula builds really well too, giving you a super-black magnificent finish, which is due to the 1% Diamond Powder it contains to give such a dramatic black colour. The formula is very lightweight and is creamy without clumping and contains Curl Flex, a unique styling resin with exceptional curl retention and gold. The fibres of the huge, blossom-shaped wand are in a curved silhouette which is why they are able to grab each and every lash for a lush, rich coat of colour. This mascara dries down pretty quickly, and once set, it doesn't budge, so there are no mid-afternoon panda eyes, just voluminous, curled lashes that look incredible!

Along with my naturally lacklustre lashes, I also have hooded eyelids, which makes liquid eyeliner even more difficult than usual! However, I do love the way liquid liner can really define the eyes, and helps the lash line to look fuller too, and so the Stila Stay All Day Dual-Ended Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner* (£22.00 for 1.00ml) is perfect for me. The Liner comes in Intense Black and Dark Brown, and as I am fair haired and fair skinned with blue eyes, I do find brown liners more flattering on me. This waterproof dual-ended formula combines the effortless application of Stila's original liquid liner with the fine precision of a micro tip. Hurrah for those of us with hooded lids! The original tip is still pretty fine, so you are able to create ultra-precise lines on the lash lines, but the micro tip goes that step further, and is perfect for me. I always wanted to be able to use liquid eyeliner, but as soon as I would apply it, it would transfer onto my hooded lids, but this works 100% better and as it is so fine, I don't get any transfer. The formula glides on effortlessly and dries down quickly so it doesn't smudge or budge throughout the day. I also appreciate the waterproof formula, as I do get quite watery eyes due to wearing contact lenses, and quite oily lids in the warm months, so it is amazing to know my eyeliner will have my back!

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
