Trying NailKind Vegan Nail Polishes - Review

Thursday 1 April 2021

More than ever, I have been painting my nails at home recently, and I have loved trying out new nail polish brands. NailKind recently sent me three of their nail polishes* from their 2021 Spring Collection to try out.

NailKind features formulas that are 85% bio-sourced, natural origin, vegan, animal and plant friendly and high performance. They have a wide range of such beautiful colours and their formula is also kind on nails. In fact, it is also award-winning - NailKind won the Danish Beauty Awards Best Consumer Product in 2020 and the Best Nail Product & Best Free from Brand in the beauty Shortlist Awards in 2021.

The NailKind nail polishes retail for £9.50 for 8ml, which come in a variety of shades, as well as finishes gloss, matte, shimmer etc. There are also treatments and Top Coats and Base Coats available to buy too. So you can have the full works!

The Spring 2021 collection features so many beautiful pastel shades, which are completely my vibe, and the three shades I was very kindly sent are Candy Floss - a pop of candy pink, Chill Out Blue - a beautiful light blue, and Sweet Pea - a sassy Spring green. I love the neat, clean packaging and found the polishes really easy to apply, as the brush is kind of flat, which ensures too much product doesn't get on the brush, so application is smooth and easy.

I have quite ridged nails due to ill health, but if I didn't you could definitely get away with one good coat of this polish, I had to do two due to the ridges poking through, but the polish dried down pretty quickly, which is always a plus for me, as I am so impatient and often end up smudging my nails! I found the formula to be long-lasting and pretty much chip-resistant, which again is an indicator of a quality polish, as no one wants to paint their nails for them to chip the next day!

Overall, I very much love this formula and the shades are just so pretty - I have been eyeing up Banana Blonde and Water Baby - be sure to head over to their website here to check them out.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx

  1. An interesting dialogue is price comment. I feel that it is best to write more on this matter, it may not be a taboo topic however usually individuals are not enough to talk on such topics. To the next. Cheers. badass vegan clothing
