Wishful Get Even Rose Oil & Thirst Trap Juice Review

A lot of beauty brands are now releasing smaller versions of their products, which I think is such a great idea! For makeup in particular, it is rare for me to finish a full-sized product as there are just so many amazing products out there that I want to try. With skincare in mind, it can be pretty pricey for a full size and it might not even agree with your skin (I have extra sensitive skin at the moment due to hormones), and so when I saw Huda Beauty's skincare brand Wishful had released smaller versions of their Get Even Rose Oil and Thirst Trap Juice, I was over the moon as I had wanted to try them out for a while, but didn't want to spend the full amount if they didn't agree with my skin.

The Wishful Get Even Rose Oil* retails at £22.00 for 10ml and £55.00 for 30ml and comes in a beautiful baby pink matte glass bottle complete with a glass dropper applicator. This facial oil contains a blend of 15 exceptional oils that have been chosen for their potent, skin-enhancing benefits and is suitable for all skin types. If you suffer from dryness, dullness and loss of firmness in the skin, Get Even is going to help create a healthy-looking glow to the complexion, leaving it looking brighter and smoothing out the texture of the skin. There isn't really a fragrance to this product, which means those with extra sensitive skin will be able to use this too, and a little goes a long way, so 1-2 drops should easily do the entire face. The Oil sinks into the skin immediately, and instantly gives that brightening look to the complexion, without leaving behind any oiliness or residue. As well as looking brighter, my skin feels instantly nourished and cared for when I apply this. The Get Even Rose Oil can be used both morning and night and I always apply an oil after cleansing, toning and moisturising to get the best from my products.

The Wishful Thirst Trap Juice Serum* retails for £16.00 for 10ml and £41.00 for 30ml, and it too comes in such a pretty glass bottle, this time with an iridescent finish and that handy glass pipette applicator. Thirst Trap Juice is amazing for those who suffer from dry to very dry skin and contains a super-potent blend of ingredients that have been boosted with three types of Hyaluronic Acid (HA3) and firming peptides to hydrate and strengthen your skin. I am sure you all know by now, but Hyaluronic Acid is able to retain moisture up to 1000 times its own weight, so it really is one of the best hydrating ingredients out there. The formula also contains Hollyhock Rose to moisturise and Aloe Vera to soothe and nourish the skin, and so along with those hydrating ingredients, this serum leaves your skin looking and feeling plumper and healthier. There doesn't seem to be any fragrance in this Serum, so again this would work well for sensitive skin types and it is clear in colour. As soon as you apply the serum, it feels like you are applying water to the skin - it is so hydrating and refreshing and not at all oily or greasy and it sinks straight into my skin. When applying serums, I like to apply them after cleansing and toning and before moisturising (oils come after moisturising if you are using one), gently patting the product into the skin to let it sink deeper than a regular moisturiser can for better, longer-lasting results.

You can find the Wishful Get Even Rose Oil and the Wishful Thirst Trap Juice Serum online at Huda Beauty here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
