NYX This Is Milky Gloss Lip Gloss Review + Swatches

Monday 10 May 2021

 I have mentioned this before, but I mainly watch American You Tubers, and America tends to get a lot of new makeup releases before us here in the UK. I first spied the NYX This Is Milky Gloss lip glosses over on Andrea Matillano's You Tube channel and I knew I had to try them!

A few years ago, lip glosses wouldn't have bothered me that much, but I really do enjoy them now. My lips are naturally thin, and so I feel when I am wearing a lip gloss, it tends to make them look slightly fuller. The NYX This Is Milky Gloss comes in eight different shades and have a vegan and cruelty free formula.

These limited edition glosses retail for £9.00 for 4ml and come in a frosted tube with a flat double-sided flocked applicator, so they are super easy and quick to apply to the lips. Some of the shades are slightly sheer, but some have more of a fuller coverage. The formula contains vegan milk and they say they give up to 12 hours hydration - I don't wear lip products for that long, but the formula is definitely very soft, hydrating and comfortable on the lips.

The shades available are:
* Cherry Skimmed - Dusky Pink Nude
* Cookies & Milk - A Cool Toned Light Nude
* Lilac Splash - A Light Lilac
* Milk & Hunny - A Warm-Toned Light Nude
* Milk It Pink - Candy Pink
* Milk The Coco - Chocolate Brown
* Moo-Dy Peach - A Pink Peach
* Pink Shake - Light Nude

Swatches are in alphabetical order as in all pictures above

The packaging is pretty fun, as it looks like a milk carton with a cow-print design and the formula has a sweet scent to it, without being overpowering or irritable to sensitive skin types. I am loving these glosses at the moment as they are not sticky or gloopy, and I love the colour pay-off, and the fact that they are moisturising really helps to hydrate my dry lips.

You can find the NYX This Is Milky Gloss Lip Glosses online at Superdrug here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
