This post contains gifted items.

Skincare and now bodycare brand Typology have just released three brand new products, and so I just had to share them with you all as I have such a crush on the brand! For my introductory post on Typology, you can check it out here. New to the brand is a new body lotion and two face masks. Let's take a look...

The Typology Ten Body Cream* (£21.50 for 130ml) is a 99% naturally-derived body cream that is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, to hydrate and nourish the skin. The Body Cream comes in a metal squeezy tube and so it is quick and easy to use and has a minimalist, lightweight formula that sinks into the skin instantly without leaving behind any greasy residue. The formula contains only those ingredients that are essential to its function, a list of ten ingredients, hence the name. First up is Organic Coconut Oil which is rich in fatty acids and prevents skin dehydration whilst also giving a natural, subtle coconut scent, then Vegetable Glycerin to provide hydration to the skin, Purified Water to blend ingredients together, Caprylic Triglyceride to leave a soft touch on the skin, Behenyl Alcohol to give texture to the cream, Glyceryl Stearate to allow the formula to remain stable over time, Pentylene Glycol to provide suface layer hydration to the skin, Citric Acid to stabilise the pH of the formula to avoid any irritation, Polyglyceryl-3 Methylglucose Distearate to blend the oily and aqueous phases of the formula together and O-Cymen-5-ol which prevents the development of bacteria. Therefore, this is such an amazing product for the skin, with zero nasties and as someone who gets incredibly dry, irritated skin, this has been such a saviour to me lately, and has really helped to hydrate and soften the skin without causing any itchiness.

The first of two brand new masks released is the Typology Purifying Mask* (£21.80 for 50ml), and just like the Body Cream, this too comes in a metal squeezy tube and you get plenty of product for your money as a little goes a long way. The Purifying Mask is suitable for all skin types, but especially beneficial to those who have combination to oily skin, as well as imperfection-prone skin. It has a silky clay texture that leaves the skin feeling soft and comfortable without drying it out, which some clay-type masks can do. The Mask helps to regulate excess sebum, dry out imperfections and deeply cleanse the skin, using 99% naturally-derived ingredients. Key active ingredients include Stinging Nettle Extract, which is ideal for blemish-prone skin as it is rich in trace elements like Zinc, Sulphur and Copper and this botanical helps to regulate sebum production and tighten the pores. It has anti-inflammatory properties that diminish the appearance of blemishes. It also contains Pine Charcoal, which is sanitising and detoxifying and it known for its powerful absorbent properties, mattifying the complexion and offering a deep-action cleanse for healthy, pristine skin. The third active ingredient is Green Clay, a potent purifying active that is great for oily or blemish-prone skin thanks to its sebum-regulating, healing and skin-softening properties. Green Clay's high concentration in minerals and trace elements make it an ideal ingredient for nourishing and soothing troubled skin. It is recommended to use the mask onto clean, dry skin once or twice a week, applying a semi-thick layer onto the face and leaving on for 15 minutes before rinsing, making it a quick, easy and also relaxing addition to your skincare routine.

The final of the three new products is the Typology Peeling Mask* (£26.90 for 50ml), which too comes in a metal squeezy tube. This is a double-action, chemical and mechanical exfoliator that instantly renews skin and unclogs pores for a radiant complexion. Containing 99% naturally-derived, organic ingredients, it has a melting texture that reveals a fresh complexion and refined skin texture. A build-up of dead skin cells on the surface of the skin can cause a dull complexion, clogged pores and blackheads. Regular exfoliation is an easy way to prevent an accumulation of dead skin cells and accelerate cell renewal, leaving skin smoother and looking healthier. The Peeling Mask is suitable for all skin types, especially those with dull skin, troubled skin and skin that is prone to surface irregularities such as roughness, blackheads and dilated pores. Key ingredients include Blackberry, Blackcurrant and Raspberry Acids, and these fruit-derived acids are natural exfoliators that are rich in skin-healthy enzymes and Vitamin C. They swiftly remove dead cells on the skin's surface for an immediate radiance boost, smoother skin and refined skin texture. You then have PHA, Poly Hydroxy Acid, a chemical exfoliant that offers a gentler exfoliating power than AHAs like Glycolic Acid. It promotes a natural, long-lasting hydration boost to the skin. Finally, the Peeling Mask also contains Cranberry Powder, and the micro grains offer a gentle surface exfoliation while nourishing the skin with polyphenols and complexion-enhancing antioxidants. You can use the mask once or twice a week, applying onto clean, dry skin and leaving for around ten minutes. Once that time is over, gently massage any excess product in circular motion to help enhance the mechanical exfoliation before rinsing with water.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
