It isn't something I often mention on my blog, but I am Disney obsessed! I have been going to Orlando every year since I was 15, and I am now 37 - although of course I missed a year in 2020! So I was absolutely thrilled when Mad Beauty recently sent me some of their fabulous Disney Mickey & Friends products.
Ever wanted to look like Minnie Mouse? Well, with this collection you absolutely can! First up, is the Mad Beauty Disney Mickey and Friends Make Up Head Band* (£7.99), and you can choose from Minnie, Mickey and Daisy Duck. Here, I have Minnie and this sumptuously soft headband features an elasticated band, and then two ears and a large bow, in true Minnie style. I love using headbands like this for when I am doing my skincare routine, or when I have a face mask on to keep my hair from going into the products. This one is very comfortable to wear and also lightweight, so it doesn't feel heavy or tight on the head, making it the perfect first step in your pamper routine.
To go with the head band, the Mad Beauty Disney Mickey and Friends Face Mask* (£3.99) is a must! There are four faces available to choose from - Mickey, Minnie, Daisy Duck and Donald Duck and here I have Minnie- she really is the sweetest! These sheet masks have the character's face printed on to them, with holes of course for the eyes and mouth. I love a sheet mask, particularly in Summer as they are just so cooling and comfortable on the skin, and this one uses pearl powder which is known to help make the skin brighter and more youthful. You simply apply the mask to the face, sit back and relax for 10-12 minutes and then remove the mask, gently massaging in any excess serum, for a gorgeous glowy complexion Minnie would be proud of!
The Mad Beauty Disney Mickey and Friends Bath Jelly* (£5.00 for 95g) s such a unique product! Again, available in the four different characters, Minnie, Mickey, Daisy and Donald, I have the Minnie version which is Strawberry scented. This jelly soap can be used whole or broken into pieces in the bath or shower and is to be used much like a soap or shower gel. Massage over wet skin to create a lather and rinse well, to leave the skin smelling of strawberries! You can then place it back in the pot for the next time you need it. I think these are great for travelling with, as they are smaller and lighter than shower gels, and less messy if your shower gel bottle was to leak!
Finally, an absolute must-have, especially at the moment, is the Mad Beauty Mickey and Friends Moisturising Hand Cleanser* (£3.00 for 30ml). Choose your character - Minnie, Mickey, Donald or Daisy, and of course, here I have Minnie, which has a soft rose fragrance to it. These Hand Sanitisers contain alcohol, so they do remove germs from the hands and they even have a little reusable clip on them, so you can attach them to a bag, or even your coat, so that you aren't digging around trying to find your hand gel. The fragrance isn't overpowering and the formula isn't sticky either, so it dries down immediately.
