As I have mentioned recently, my hair took a battering after recovering from my surgeries in September, and so haircare has been something that I have really made an effort with these past few months. Three products I have recently been using and loving are from the Klorane Aquatic Mint collection, from which mint has been used for its invigorating and refreshing properties. Klorane chose Mentha Aquatica L. for its high concentration of polyphenols, which have proven antioxidant and anti-pollution properties.

Starting with the good ol' basics, the Klorane Mint Detox Shampoo* (£9.00 for 200ml) and Klorane Mint Detox Conditioner* (£10.00 for 150ml) are a great place to begin. The Klorane Mint Detox Shampoo is a non-stripping cleanser for the hair that will instantly help to remove any environmental build-up to reveal healthy, bouncy hair that will be full of shine. Exposure to pollution can create oxidative stress, which is an imbalance between the production of free radicals and the body's ability to counteract their harmful effects. When this occurs, it leads to hair becoming dull, lifeless and dry, while the scalp becomes increasingly more clogged. The powerful purifying capabilities of aquatic mint, an active ingredient that will gently remove any build-up, detoxifying your scalp and hair in the same way it is able to detoxify water when in nature. Thanks to its antioxidant properties, it will offer defence against the damaging effects of free radicals, while the Refreshing Complex++ helps to soothe and comfort, leaving the hair silky soft and voluminous, healthy and full of life. The formula has a luxurious fragrance combined of Herbal Mint, Lemon and Tea, leaving the hair smelling beautiful as well as looking beautiful. Simply use as you would your regular shampoo, along with the Klorane Aquatic Mint Conditioner. The Klorane Aquatic Mint Detox Conditioner effectively draws out pollutants without stripping away the scalp's natural balance, leaving hair super soft and bouncy. Aquatic Mint is extract using a thermo-mechanical process that preserves the plant's active molecules while reducing carbon footprint. This active ingredient acts as a defensive field, preventing pollutants from setting and building upon the hair fibres while refreshing the scalp with its soothing and velvety texture. I love how healthy my scalp and hair looks and feels after using this powerhouse duo.

As someone whose hair never looks good the day after washing (imagine I had just had an electric shock and you will get the picture), dry shampoo is a must for me. The Klorane Aquatic Mint Detox Dry Shampoo* (£9.50 for 150ml) cleanses and refreshes the hair in minutes. It is an invisible-finish dry shampoo that uses 100% natural powders to absorb oil and protect against pollution and is great for when you are short of time and need a quick refresh. The formula soaks up excess sebum using ultra-absorbent rice powders and corn starch while essential oils refresh the scalp without drying it out like some dry shampoos can do. The Klorane Aquatic Mint Dry Shampoo removes pollution particles and protects against future pollutants using organic Aquatic Mint and Vitamin E. Iron Oxides provide an invisible finish so you don't have to worry about any white, powdery residue. As well as refreshing and detoxifying the hair, you also get a wonderful fresh fragrance to the hair which is the same one as in the Shampoo and Conditioner. To use, simply shake the can, spray onto the roots evenly and leave the product for a couple of minutes and then brush thoroughly.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
