Nail Kind Nailcare

Ever since I came out of hospital back in October, my hair, skin and nails haven't been at their best - far from it - due to all the surgeries and recovering and so I have been making an effort to take better care of myself. Today's post features some of my favourite nailcare products from vegan and cruelty free nail brand Nail Kind.

If you paint your own nails, the first thing you absolutely need is a good quality base coat. This magic multi-tasking product has a gentle formula and is quick drying, which for me, is one of the most important things when it comes to nail products as I am not the most patient of people. Base coats are especially useful for underneath bright or dark nail polish colours as it stops the colour from staining your nails.

If you have large cuticles, or dry nails, then a nail oil is a must-have. The Nail Kind Natural Nail Oil* retails for £9.95 and is a luxurious oil, of which just one drop instantly moisturises, nourishes and soothes the nails and the skin around the nail, so the dry and rough becomes soft, healthy and beautiful. As it is a natural formula, it is gentle on the nails and can be used on the nails and cuticles whether you have nail polish on or not. It is a lovely, conditioning treatment that takes mere seconds to use and enjoy, promoting healthy nails along the way.

If you have either naturally weak nails, whether that is due to illness or not, or if you have had a long spell wearing nail extensions or gel polish, then the Nail Kind Strengthener* (£9.95) is a very good option for you. This gentle and caring nail strengthener helps to restore strength into the nails, enabling the nails to be stronger, more nourished and looking and feeling much healthier. The formula nourishes the nails and helps protect the nail against external aggressions, reinforcing the nails natural barrier and softening their surface. You only need to apply twice a week to see results.

As just as important as a quality base coat, a good top coat is essential too. The Nail Kind Natural Top Coat* (£8.95) amps up your nail colour and the glossiness of your polishes. As with the Base Coat, it has a gentle, quick drying formula and really helps you to get the best from your nail polishes. Using a Top Coat over your polishes helps to strengthen the nails as well as ensuring they last longer without chipping.
