Throughout the past nine months or so I have been obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, and I have quite the collection now. My most recent one is the Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in the shade Angel Alessandra.
The Hot Lips Lipsticks come in limited edition packaging that is different to the regular Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, and this one is emblazoned with black panthers and burgundy stripes. Charlotte Tilbury isn't a cheap brand by any means, but their products always seem to work well and so I don't mind paying a little more if I am getting good performance from my products. The Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipsticks retails at £29.00 for 10g.
There are eleven shades available and Angel Alessandra is the perfect warm peachy nude lipstick with a satin finish, which I tend to prefer over a matte finish as I have quite thin lips. The formula is moisturising and hydrating and contains Antioxidant Lipstick Tree extract to help with this. 3D glowing pigments give the illusion of lit-from-within, plumper-looking lips which is perfect for my aforementioned thin lips!
Charlotte Tilbury has pledged £1million of Hot Lips sales to Women For Women International, helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives, which I think is a really lovely thing to do, and even though makeup isn't the most important thing in the world, it is nice to know that I am choosing a lipstick that is not only helping my confidence to look and feel good, but also helping those who put their lives at stake.
