The Morphe Blush Balm Soft-Focus Cream Blush Review + Swatches

Saturday 21 May 2022

I haven't bought a lot from Morphe over the past year or so, nothing has really caught my eye apart from the Make It Big Mascara, which I love. However, I have really been enjoying cream blush products lately so I picked up the Morphe Blush Balm Soft-Focus Cream Blush.

The Morphe Blush Balm Soft-Focus Cream Blush is available in five different shades and I chose the shade Provocative Petal, a pretty petal pink. The Blush Balm retails at £12.00 for 3.7g and it comes in a sweet nude coloured compact with a mirror on the inside of the lid.

Blush Balm is an innovative, skin-nourishing, pigmented cream blush and the formula melts into the skin for velvety, sheer-to-buildable, matte colour. It is infused with super-moisturising Murumuru and Cupuacu Butter to smooth and blur to give a soft-focus effect on the complexion. I really like the formula - as it is so pigmented a little goes a long way and you get a good flush of colour with even the tiniest amount.

It works well over liquid and powder products and you could even go for a monochromatic look, applying it to the cheeks, lips and eyelids. As it has a cream-matte finish, it doesn't feel sticky whatsoever like some cream products can do and it dries down beautifully. I definitely want to be able to pick up a couple of other shades!

All the Loves,
