There are so many fabulous products out there for the face and body, and so I have put together some of my top picks for the Summer months...

Beginning with the face, I have really been enjoying the Lavera Hydro Sensation Gel Cream* (£19.95 for 50ml), which is an amazing Summer buy. The Gel Cream is super refreshing and intensively moisturises and hydrates the skin, absorbing within seconds. It is suitable for all skin types and has a carefully balanced natural composition with Organic Algae and natural Hyaluronic Acid to invigorate the skin and provide it with a moisture boost. This daily moisturising cream leaves the skin feeling hydrated, super soft, protected and cared for throughout the day. I don't like using thick, heavy face creams in the Summer because once you have applied your moisturiser, SPF and makeup, it can sometimes be too much in the heat, but the cooling sensation of this lightweight cream is perfect.

If you suffer from dull skin, and you want to brighten your complexion, then I would highly recommend the Evolve Organic Beauty Bio-Retinol + C Booster* (£28.00 for 15ml). This is an oil-based booster for dull and tired skin, designed to improve the appearance of dull and tired skin and provide the nourishment your skin needs to look radiant. Vitamin C and Bio-Retinol are brought together to supercharge the skin and uses Vitamins A, C, F and E blended into a gentle base of Rosehip Oil, allowing the product to penetrate deeper into the skin that typical water based products. Vitamins C and A help to deliver anti-ageing benefits, increase collagen production and hydration whilst boosting radiance and skin luminosity. Vitamin E is rich in antioxidants and healing on the skin and Vitamin F deeply nourishes and replenishes the skin. It comes in a little glass bottle with a dropper applicator and you simple apply 1-2 drops of the serum into your regular moisturiser and apply onto cleansed skin, or you can apply it straight onto the skin by itself.

One of my favourite Summer skincare tips is to keep a face mist in the fridge, so that when you need to cool down, it feels like heaven when you mist it all over the skin. The ARK Skincare SkinEssential Hydrating Beauty Mist* (£25.00 for 150ml or £12.00 for a handy travel-sized 50ml) is a multi-used product that can be used as a toner, for a dewy look, to refresh makeup, to refresh, cool and calm the skin and even for during exercise classes. This intensively refreshing and hydrating spray soothes and protects the skin and has a cooling, calming, refreshing effect - perfect for warmer weather or even if you suffer from hot flushes. It contains Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate the skin, relieve dryness and allow increased flexibility, Wild Water Mine, Aloe Vera and Allantoin to soothe and calm the skin and Goji and Blue Lotus to provide high levels of nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants to detoxify and offer anti-inflammatory benefits. As I mentioned, it is super refreshing on its own, but when the weather is scorching, be sure to pop it in the fridge on a morning and you won't regret it once you have been out in that sunshine!

I also wanted to include something for the lips, that is not only nourishing, but adds a pop of colour too. The Lanolips Rose Gold 101 Ointment* (£13.00 for 9g) is a balm and tint for the lips and cheeks, and even the eyelids if you so fancy. This includes the Original 101 Ointment formula and has been injected with a burst of dense, rich rose gold pigments and the colour mimics the effect of blood rushing to the lips and cheeks. It is ultra hydrating and dewy and not at all sticky. Key ingredients include Lanolin, their superstar ingredient - the molecular structure of Lanolin mimics human oils, and Lanolips call it Nature's Wonder Moisturiser. The formula also contains shimmer, to make the lips and cheeks look healthy and juicier without it being glittery or uncomfortable to wear. To use, simply dab onto your lips and pop a little on your cheeks where you naturally get flushed. Such a quick, easy, lightweight makeup and skincare product in one!

Moving onto bodycare, and I just had to include the Palmer's Natural Bronze Body Lotion* (£5.69 for 250ml). This creamy, moisturising lotion, with a special combination of pure Cocoa Butter or Coconut Oil and Vitamin E is the perfect way to keep your skin beautiful and healthy with a natural-looking glow. With just a touch of self tanner, the Natural Bronze creates a delicate, sun-kissed, summer glow all year round. The formula gradually builds a subtle tan within a few days, while deeply moisturising your skin and you can take it from fair to medium to dark by controlling the intensity by the frequency you use it. For best results, it is recommended that you apply the gradual tan evenly once daily or as often as you need to achieve your desired level of colour. It doesn't have that horrid false tan smell, nor it is sticky or streaky and sinks into the skin effortlessly. I find gradual tans a great way to keep my tan looking its best.

I don't always wear perfumes during the Summer months as some can be quite heavy, and so I do love to wear fragrance mists as they are a lot lighter and some of the scents always take me back to happy holiday memories. The Hawaiian Tropic Shimmer Edition Fragrance Mists (£10.00 for 250ml) are a great option as not only do they give you a gorgeous scent, they also add shimmer to the body, which really helps make your tan stand out and look its best. Here I have Aloha Coco, which contains notes of Peach, Red Berry, Tropical, Coconut, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Musk and Cedarwood, and Beach Dreams, which has notes of Mango, Blackcurrant, Apple, Aquatic, Peony, Rose, Freesia, Musk, Amber and Cedarwood. So both are very fresh and fruity and I find them such a fabulous alternative to perfume as the scent and longevity of the mists are second to none! With every spritz, you get a really good amount of shimmer on the skin, so you don't even need to apply too much fragrance to have that pretty sheen to the skin.

To really amp up that shimmer, I adore the That'so Glowy Gold Shimmering Luxury Oil* (£34.00 for 100ml), which comes in a classy glass bottle with a gold push-down applicator. This is a moisturising, lightweight and luminous oil that is enriched with Hemp Oil, which is rich in Omega 3 and Omega 6 antioxidants, powerful natural anti-ageing agents and leaves the skin feeling silky soft without feeling greasy or oily. It has a delicious Jasmine and Amber fragrance to it and contains key ingredients such as Hemp Oil, as mentioned, Rice Oil which has deep moisturising effects due to its combination of Vitamin E and fatty acids, and Gold Shimmering Particles to give that immediate radiance and luminosity to the skin without looking or feeling glittery. You can use it all over the body and even in the hair to condition dry ends and it works amazingly well at enhancing your tan. I love using it on the arms, décolleté, and down the legs.

Chlorine from swimming pools and dryness from the heat can really dry out the skin, and I suffer from quite irritable, sensitive skin in both Winter and Summer, but one product which is super affordable and works really well at keeping my dryness at bay is the Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Daily Skin Therapy* (£5.99 for 400ml). It comes in a large bottle with a push down applicator for quick and easy use. The Daily Skin Therapy softens and smooths rough, dry skin and contains Cocoa Butter which is naturally harvested from Cocoa Beans, and is a rich, nutrient-packed super ingredient that is loaded with antioxidants for amazing skincare and moisture barrier protection. Palmer's create some of the best body care products, and the price is always amazing - a little goes a long way and so this lasts months! I find the formula sinks into my skin almost instantly and there is no greasiness or oily residue left behind, just smooth, hydrated skin.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
