The ESPA Optimal Skin Pro-Cleanser Review

Friday 17 June 2022

Cleansers are one of my favourite skincare products to try out, and recently I have been testing the ESPA Optimal Skin Pro-Cleanser. ESPA is an absolutely beautiful skin and bodycare brand which is often found in spas and I have tried many of their products over the years.

The ESPA Optimal Skin Pro-Cleanser retails at £45.00 for the 200ml size I have here, but you can get 100ml for £32.00, so it does make sense to buy the 200ml supersize version. This is a 3-in-1 skincare product that works as an effective gel cleanser, an exfoliator and a mask that will nourish, smooth and visibly brighten the complexion.

Key ingredients include Moringa Seed Extract to cleanse and remove makeup, whilst gentle Jojoba Spheres and Pumpkin Enzymes buff away dull skin cells, to reveal radiant, glowing skin. It is recommended to use daily, both morning and evening, by smoothing a small amount of the gel over the face, neck and decollete, working in small, circular movements to gently exfoliate until the Jojoba Spheres melt. Then simply rinse away with warm water and a muslin cloth or damp cotton wool.

The formula also contains Lingonberry and Avocado Oils, which are super conditioning on the skin and along with Moringa Seed Extract, they bolster resilience and help to enhance elasticity on the skin, which I find leaves my skin feeling supple and soft to the touch. To use the Optimal Skin Pro-Cleanser as a face mask, simply use twice a week, applying on to the skin for 15 minutes to optimise the benefits of the Pumpkin Enzymes before rinsing away.

I find the formula lightweight and I love how radiant and luminous it helps my skin to look, especially after using it as a face mask. An infusion of Vital Nutrients Omega and an Essential Vitamin Complex drenches the complexion in Fatty Acids, which then allows the skin to appear brighter and clearer and a boost of Vitamin E helps to create a shield across your complexion, defending it against harsh external aggressors. So this is definitely much more than 'just' a cleanser!

You can find the ESPA Optimal Skin Pro-Cleanser online at ESPA here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
