One of my favourite makeup products to try out are lip products - I just have so many lip products, yet I always want to try more! One of the most recent lip releases are the Revlon Colorstay Matte Lite Lip Crayons and I have three shades here to share with you.
At the time of writing, for some reason, they are only available on Amazon or home catalogue shopping websites like Freemans and they retail for £9.99 each. I do have a feeling that Revlon are withdrawing from the UK (I do not have any facts to back this up, and it would be sad if it is true), but I know that Superdrug have removed their stands instore and with me only being able to get this new release from Amazon or home shopping sites, it does make you wonder...
Anyway, let's get on to the lip crayons... There are 12 shades to choose from, including nudes, pinks, reds and even a purple, and I opted for three shades - 001 Tread Lightly, a soft spicy nude, 004 Take Flight, a warm slightly pink nude and 007 Mile High, a bright vivid pink that reminds me of MAC's Candy Yum Yum, but much cheaper!
The Revlon Colorstay Matte Lite Crayons are an effortless crayon lipstick that is super lightweight and comfortable on the lips. It is supposed to feel 30% lighter than an average lipstick, which I do agree with and is infused with antioxidant-rich Mango Seed Oil to help replenish the lips. I find the colour super pigmented and even though it dries to a matte formula, I don't find the formula drying whatsoever.
They are easy to apply as they have pointed tips so you can apply like a lip liner and then fill in the lips and I didn't experience any smudging or feathering on the lips throughout the day, nor did I experience any flaking like some matte lip products can do. To keep the tip sharp, simply remove the end cap and you will find a sharpener there, which is perfect for me as I am forever misplacing my sharpeners!
You can find the Revlon Colorstay Matte Lite Lip Crayons online at Amazon here.
All the Loves,
