The Huda Beauty Easy Bake And Snatch Cherry Blossom Cake Pressed Brightening & Setting Powder Review

Monday 12 February 2024

I'm sure these blog post titles are getting longer by the day...Anyway, today's post is all about the Huda Beauty Easy Bake and Snatch Pressed Brightening & Setting Powder in the shade Cherry Blossom Cake, if you hadn't already guessed by the title. 😊

I have done many, many posts on Huda Beauty over the years as they continue to be a reliable brand that provides excellent products. I have tried the Huda Beauty Easy Bake Loose Powder before, but when I saw the newly released Huda Beauty Easy Bake And Snatch Pressed Powder version, I was sold, as I don't always like the messiness of loose powders. There are nine shades available, and I chose Cherry Blossom Cake as I had in mind to use this mainly under the eyes, so this is an excellent shade to brighten up dark under eyes.

This pressed powder comes in a sleek, plastic matte compact, with a mirror on the inside of the lid, along with a tear-drop shaped sponge applicator underneath the powder pan for on-the-go touch ups, which definitely wouldn't be easy with the loose powder version of this. Created to brighten the complexion and set makeup in place, the Easy Bake and Snatch also helps to blur pores and fine lines to give you that filtered finish. The formula is talc and fragrance-free and gives a medium to full coverage wear, lasting very well throughout the day, as it is also sweat and humidity resistant.

As the Powder is infused with Hyaluronic Acid and an Avocado derivative, I find it very creamy to the touch, not at all drying on the skin, and with a soft, silky texture that really brightens up the complexion. I prefer to use a regular powder brush to apply this all over the face, but then a smaller, more precise powder brush for under the eye area. I tend to get oily throughout my T-Zone later in the day, and I found that if I apply the powder with the sponge provided across my T-Zone area, it definitely helps to keep shine away. This is a very comfortable powder to wear, it doesn't look or feel heavy on the skin and it had no negative affects on my other makeup products, like cream foundations, bronzers or blushes, really helping to smooth out the skin.

This is definitely a hit for me, and I haven't stopped using it since I first tried it out, so I would definitely recommend it. You can find the Huda Beauty Easy Bake and Snatch Pressed Powder online at Boots here, where it retails at £32.00 for 8.5g.

All the Loves,
Kathryn x
