The Grande Cosmetics GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum, GrandeMASCARA & GrandeBROW Brow Enhancing Serum Review

Friday 1 March 2024

I picked up the Grande Cosmetics Destination Grande Gift Set whilst in America in December last year, as I have noticed that their products have been continuously popular at Sephora there for some years now. I am usually quite sceptic about these kinds of products, because firstly they are expensive, and secondly, I have pretty rubbish natural brows and lashes so would they actually make much of a difference on me? Because I have tried similar products over the years and I didn't notice much of a difference. However, it was my full last day in Orlando and as the holiday hadn't been the best, I had quite a lot of money left and so went to the Florida Mall for a splurge and decided to bite the bullet and try the GrandeLASH-MD Serum out, but then saw this set and so picked it up.

The Grande Cosmetics Destination Grande Gift Set was a Christmas set, but you can buy the products individually. The set includes three full sizes of their most popular products - the GrandeLASH-MD Lash Enhancing Serum, GrandeMASCARA and GrandeBROW Brow Enhancing Serum. That's a lot of the word Grande, and a lot of capital letters. Anyway, I started using the GrandeLASH-MD Serum and the GrandeBROW Serum (£66.00 for 3ml) not long after I got home from Orlando, which was just before Christmas. You apply both products once a day, using the brush of Brow Serum to paint the formula over your brows, and then the Lash Serum has a tiny, fine brush, and you apply the Serum like you would a liquid eyeliner. Some days I forgot to use them, but for the most part I was pretty good at being consistent with them. It took probably just under a month, but I realised my brows were much thicker, and baring in mind I have little to no brow hair, this was such a shocker to me! I have never had naturally big brows, they have always been super fine, 90's brows, so to say that I had more growth than I ever had naturally, was really surprising to me. I could never used to have my brows laminated or those HD Brow treatments years ago because I just didn't have the brow hair for them, but now I definitely could have a lamination! I didn't even take 'before' photos because I didn't really expect the products to work. You do have to bear in mind that any kind of hair growth is on a six week cycle, so these kinds of products will take a few weeks before you notice a difference, and you do have to keep using them to keep seeing the results.

I wasn't blessed in the lash department either - my natural lashes are sparse, fair, fine, short and straight and so I have to have a really good mascara even just to have a bit of volume never mind anything else. However, since using the GrandeLASH-MD Lash Serum (£62.00 for 2ml), my lashes have never been fuller, longer or thicker - now don't get me wrong, I don't look like I have a set of false lashes on, but you can 100% see a difference and even my Dad noticed the other day, which is saying something! I wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes, but this formula hasn't affected me in any way shape or form in a negative way or reaction. The Lash Serum comes in a matte gold tube, and the brush itself is thin and long, and you apply it as if you were applying a liquid eyeliner - along the eyelid, close to the lash line. I think when you see results with something, you continue using it, and so this spurs me on to make sure I remember to apply it every day. I know with other lash serums, you have to apply it twice a day, so at least you are getting more use out of this one. I am going to have a lash lift done soon because I just know my lashes will look even more amazing now that they are longer and fuller. I am so glad I gave in to this particular 'trend'. If purchasing the full sizes of the items, the Lash Serum will give you a 3 months supply, whilst the Brow Serum will provide four months of daily use. And when you break it down like that, the Lash Serum costs around £20.00 a month and the Brow Serum costs just £16.50 a month, which I don't think breaks the bank at all when it comes to having healthier and better looking brows and lashes, especially for those like me that struggle with sparse brows and lashes.

There are four mascaras from Grande Cosmetics available, which I wasn't aware of until I went to look on their website before finishing off this post, and now I think I have to try them all. In fact, Grande Cosmetics have a lot of, well, cosmetics. I didn't even realise as I don't see a lot of them in the UK, and only ever really saw the Lash Serum or gift sets when in Orlando. The Mascara I have been trying is the Grande Cosmetics GrandeMASCARA Conditioning Peptide Mascara (£23.00 for 5.6g), which comes in similar packaging to the Lash and Brow Serums, matte gold metal tubes. The brush is a natural bristle applicator that has lots of tiny little branches that coat each lash, even the small ones, to add volume and length to the lashes, featuring a combination of soft and hard fibres to lift the lashes. The formula is infused with a lash-loving blend of Peptides, Panthenols and Natural Waxes to condition your lashes whilst you wear the Mascara, so that with continued use, your lashes are healthier and therefore will grow better. It is a lightweight formula, that is not drying or too wet, and I find it easy to build, and doesn't wear off or smudge during the day. I find it a very comfortable formula to wear and like that it conditions my lashes. I haven't consistently worn this mascara, because I like to try so many makeup products, so I cannot comment on how much it conditions your lashes over time, but if it is anything like the Lash and Brow Serums, then it is bound to be a winner.

Lashes Before

Lashes After

I have tried to include a photo of my lashes as they are since using the Lash Serum, but it was just a photo I was sending to a friend, so it isn't professional, so apologies for that but against a photo where you can see what my lashes looked like before, I would say you can definitely see a difference. I don't have many photos of myself, as I gained so much weight after my surgeries went wrong that I don't ever think I look nice enough for a photo, so this is the best of what I have.

You can find Grande Cosmetics online here.

All the Loves,
