Paul & Joe Cosmetics: Spring 2019

Saturday 2 March 2019

Fashion brand Paul & Joe always come up with the most adorable makeup products, and this Spring is no different. In fact, things have gotten cuter if that is even possible. Although my stand-out Paul & Joe product I actually got about 2 years ago and I still haven't used it, and let's face it I probably won't ever use it, but it was a gorgeous pink lipstick and the lipstick itself was moulded into the shape of a cat. As a huge cat lover and cat Momma, I just love Paul & Joe as along with beautiful blooms, their products often feature cats. Hurrah for that.
If you are new to Paul & Joe cosmetics, all of their packaging is reusable and can be bought separately to the products themselves. For example, you can buy a lipstick bullet without packaging and pop it into Paul & Joe packaging which you already have. I like the fact that you can customise your makeup.

The first product I am going to talk about is the Paul & Joe Cheek Colour, which is a pan which contains three quarters blush and a quarter highlighter. It is available in different shades, however here I have shade 001 and the colouring is perfect for my fair skin. I have placed mine in one of the cat compacts, which is so easy to do as they are magnetic so they stay in place but there is a little gap for your finger to remove it when you want to switch up. The blush is a warm apricot shade and the highlighter is a light champagne colour and it does feature shimmer without being over the top. The Cheek Compacts retail for £7.00 and the Cheek Colour for £12.50, which is incredible value considering you are getting a blush and a highlighter in one.
Never a brand to shy away from doing something different, Paul & Joe's Eyeshadow Trio Compact is so pretty. Housed in a floral box, complete with ribbon, each compact contains three vibrant eyeshadow shades, which can also be used on the face. Here I have option 117, which contains a bright pink, coral and shimmery peach, perfect for Spring and Summer. The shadow formula is highly-pigmented and is enriched with Jojoba Oil which enables the shadows to blend smoothly into the skin. Within the tropically-printed box, the shadows in the pan have been embossed to give a stunning chrysanthemum design. Other shade options available include purples, pinks and blues, and yellow, peach and lime and this retails for £19.00.
I adore the Paul & Joe packaging so much, that I wish they did homeware too as the prints are just so, so beautiful, including this 051 Lipstick Case full of butterflies and flowers. As I mentioned, the Lipstick Cases are also available to buy separately, and at £7 and fully reusable, you really cannot go wrong. You simply take the Lipstick Refill and click it easily into the case, and then they are just as easy to remove, but they stay in place so don't worry about them opening up in your handbag. The lipstick I have here is the Paul & Joe Lipstick in the shade 112 Gerbera Daisy (£14.00), a really pretty bright pop of coral colour and the formula is glossy and hydrating, all the things you want from a lip product. The tube features a floral design with the Paul & Joe logo on the side and there is a sweet flower embossed into the tip of it. I love this shade and it is perfect for Spring, and yes, I will be using this one!

You can find Paul & Joe online at Feel Unique, Selfridges and Beauty Bay.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
