Tommy Girl Now Eau De Toilette Review

Friday 19 April 2019

Spring is often my favourite time of year to discover fragrances, as there are so many light and fresh perfumes that make excellent scents for Spring. I tend to wear heavier fragrances throughout Autumn and Winter, so once Spring rolls around it is nice to be able to wear something lighter. This week I have been trying out the Tommy Girl Now Eau de Toilette.
This isn't a newly released fragrance, but it is new to me, and one of my first ever perfumes was the original Tommy Girl so I was excited and nostalgic to try this newer version. Tommy Hilfiger as a brand is your higher-end all-American designer and I often get quite a few of their pieces of clothing when on holiday in Orlando as I love that American 'preppy' look. The Tommy Girl Now fragrance bottle emulates that slightly, with its all-white background, with red font and a navy, red and white striped lid.

The fragrance itself is a floral and fruity scent, hence why it is just perfect for Spring. It features top notes of Bergamot Integrale Italy and Mandarin, mid notes of Southern Magnolia, Spearmint and Mahonia with base notes of Cashmeran and Musk. So you start with quite a citrusy scent, followed by the cooling spearmint and sweet magnolia and then it ends with warmness and a hint of musk.
Tommy Girl Now is definitely different to the original Tommy Girl, in a way that has made it a little more grown-up, yet still emasculating that wonderful all-American scent. It is an eau de toilette rather than an eau de parfum, which in some cases means it isn't as strong or as long-lasting, but I found this the gave the right amount of fragrance and it certainly lasted throughout my working day. This is definitely going to be a Spring go-to scent for me.

You can find Tommy Girl Now Eau de Toilette in-store and online at Debenhams here. The 30ml bottle costs £20.00 and the 100ml bottle costs £35.00, both of which I find extremely good value for a Tommy Hilfiger fragrance.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
