Glow All Summer Long With Glamglow

Monday 13 May 2019

Summer is on its way, and to get you prepped and ready, I have some amazing suggestions to get a Summer glow from Glamglow, a brand which is allllll about the skin. They have masks, treatments, moisturisers, serums and even highlighter palettes. Y'all gonna be causing skin envy this Summer.
The Glamglow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment (£42.00 for 50g) is a mask to provide the skin with a deep instant hydration. Just like other Glamglow products, ThirstyMud comes in pretty cool packaging and although the Mask itself isn't the prettiest, it smells divine as it contains Coconut and I love all skincare and body care products that are fragranced with it as it reminds me of being on holiday. As well as Coconut, ThirstyMud also contains Hyaluronic Acid and Citric Acid to boost hydration and give a dewy look to the skin, along with a blend of actives from Apples, Oat Beta Glucan and Hydraclay to help retain the natural moisture in the skin, and Orange Blossom Honey, the Coconut and Ginger Root to boost radiance and condition the skin. So there is a whole lotta skin goodness in here. If you have dehydrated skin, then this is the mask for you, and it is also suitable for all skin types, which is often unheard of for a hydrating mask. This wonder product can also be used three ways, either as a 15 minute mask for a quick glow fix before applying makeup, as an overnight sleep mask which you can leave on overnight so that it deeply hydrates the skin, or on flights, to lock in moisture and prevent the skin drying out, as well all know how much of a pain flying can be for sucking out all the moisture in the skin.
If your skin is in need of a little plumping up, then the Glamglow DreamDuo Overnight Transforming Treatment (£42.00 for 2 x 20g) is going to be your new love. It comes in an amazing chrome pot, and once you remove the lid, you have the DreamSerum on one side and the DreamSeal on the other. Step 1 is the DreamSerum which is a melt-in serum with Green Coffee & Green Tea Leaf Teaoxi. Antioxidants and supercharged essential vitamins provide an even flawless complexion. Step 2 is the DreamSeal, a nourishing moisture boost of Hyaluronic Acid and Mozuku Green Algae to plump and recharge the skin's glow. Suitable for most skin types, including Normal, Oily, Combination and Dry this overnight treatment leaves the skin feeling and looking moisturised and smooth with a plump, radiant effect. It is super quick and easy to incorporate into your skincare routine, and all you need to do is apply Step 1 onto the skin and let it sink in for about 30 seconds, and then apply Step 2. As you may guess by the name, this is an overnight treatment, so I would recommend using your regular moisturiser in a morning and this one on an evening.
For moisturisers, I have two options depending on what you are wanting to gain from it, starting with the Glamglow Glowstarter Mega Illuminating Moisturiser (£36.00 for 50ml), which is available in three different shades, Pearl Glow, the lightest shade, Nude Glow, a warmer medium shade and Sun Glow, for darker skin tones. Glowstarter is suitable for Normal, Oily, Combination and Dry skin types, so pretty much covers the majority. It is a daily moisturiser and illuminated glow in one, using a combination of vitamins, botanicals, hyaluronic acid and Teaoxi golden root technology to instantly brighten and hydrate dull, thirsty skin and provide it with a beautiful healthy-looking glow. I have Pearl Glow as I have fair skin, and you only need a tiny amount of the product as it is quite a rich moisturiser and adds a pretty natural illumination to the skin. It can be used on its own for no makeup days, or underneath your regular makeup, but I also love applying it to my legs and arms to give them a glowy look, which goes great for Summer when we are wearing sundresses and shorts. This will be a great product to take on holiday with you to keep you looking fresh and healthy, and it will go perfectly with a tan.
If the cold Winter months have sucked all the moisture out of your skin, then I would recommend the Glamglow WaterBurst Hydrated Glow Moisturiser (£39.00 for 50ml), which unlike the GlowStarter is only suitable for normal to dry skin types as it gives a heavy dose of moisture to the skin. WaterBurst has a light blue creamy gel texture to it and as soon as you apply it to the skin, it feels so soothing and refreshing. It features a triple hyaluronic acid complex which delivers 72 hours of instant and continuous hydration deep into the skin, which has really helped my dry skin and managed to make it look and feel a lot healthier and more nourished. Ingredients-wise, it features water from the volcanic island of Jeju and is blended with Teaoxi Blue Nymph Lily Extract and hydration technology that results in supple skin with a hydrated glow. Glamglow are alllll about their glow and I absolutely love it. To use WaterBurst, you would just use it in place of your regular moisturiser, so both morning and night application.
When I first think of Glamglow, I think skin and skincare, but they also have some makeup items to help that glow go further. I love a good highlighter, and the Glamglow GlowPowder Hyaluronic Acid Infused Glow Palette (£25.00) is simply gorgeous. Glamglow have managed to mix both skincare and makeup to create this silky smooth, super glowy highlighter palette. It contains hyaluronic acid to keep moisture locked into the skin, and comes in a gorgeous tactile rubber casing complete with mirror. There are three hybrid glow powders in this palette, featuring Pearl Glow, Nude Glow and Sun Glow, just like the GlowStarter. As I mentioned, I do have fair skin yet these silky shades all work perfectly on me, and even the bronzey shade looks stunning. Along with hyaluronic acid, the powders have also been infused with Brazilian Golden Clay, Golden Gemstones and a Teaoxi Vitalflower Complex and the highlighters are blendable and buildable whilst diffusing light and blurring out imperfections. If you are going to choose just one of these products for Summer, then this should definitely be the one as the shades are super pretty and shimmery.
You can find these gorgeous products and more online at Glamglow here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
