Yes To Grapefruit Brightening Unicorn Collection Review

I have always really enjoyed the Yes To skincare ranges, and whilst browsing online I recently discovered they had a new Unicorn collection, and whilst I think the unicorn trend has more or less had its day, I am always up for pink, iridescent skincare! There are three products within the collection, a clay cleanser, a peel-off mask and then a single use peel-off mask.

Starting with the Yes To Grapefruit Unicorn Transforming Clay Cleanser (£8.00), which does have a much longer name, but we will stick with that for now, this is a colour-changing mask which is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, grapefruit and Vitamin C. The mask starts off a pinky-peach shade and then once you massage it into the skin to remove makeup and impurities, it then turns to yellow, and it is quite a thick cleanser due to the clay, so a little goes a long way. As this contains Vitamin C, it is great for adding a glow to the skin, making it look and feel healthier and I found it very effective at removing my makeup. The packaging is in-keeping with the rest of the Yes To products, but it features allllll the holographic goodness you could want in a skincare product. Just like many of the products from the Yes To range, you can really smell the ingredients, and this one is made with grapefruit and is 95% natural, so it smells super fresh, especially in a morning.

The Yes To Grapefruit Unicorn Peel-Off Mask (£3.99/£11.99) is available in a single-use sachet or a 59ml tube. The tube comes with a pink glittery spatula-type applicator so that is fun! This iridescent pink formula visibly brightens the skin and evens out skin tone to reveal a luminous complexion. Just like the Clay Cleanser, it has been formulated using Grapefruit and Vitamin C to protect the skin and leaves it feeling brighter and healthier. The mask is applied via the spatula applicator, and once applied, you can sit back and relax for 8 to 10 minutes, whilst the mask dries and infuses the skin with the goodness of grapefruit and Vitamin C. When it first comes out of the tube, this mask reminds me of the MAC Strobe Cream as it is so iridescent and pretty! Once it is dry, you can use the spatula to lift the edges of the mask and then peel that baby off. I always find peel-off masks so satisfying.
