Too Faced Peach Puff Matte Lip Color Review + Swatch

I used to collect Too Faced products like there was no tomorrow - they were unique to anything we had over here in the UK and a good few years ago now, they finally came over to the UK. I have tried so many of their products, and loved them all - the packaging is always innovative and the products work wonderfully. Too Faced came out with a peach-inspired line or two many years ago, and their recent peach-offering is the Too Faced Peach Puff Long-Wearing Diffused Matte Lip Color (US brand/spelling!).

There are twelve shades available of the Peach Puff Lip Color, including your everyday nudes, pinks, corals and even a purple thrown in there for good measure. Peach Puff is in a pen-shaped container and shows the colour of the product in the main part of it, and is accessorised with gold. You remove the cap, which unveils the sponge applicator, and to get the product working, you simply twist the bottom of the stylo. As with all products like this, it takes you a good few twists to start with, but then you are good to go thereafter.

The formula is pretty unique, and feels creamy when you apply it to the lips and is buildable, so you can go from a sheerer coverage to a fuller one. Even though this is a matte product, it does not dry out the lips, nor look dry on the lips and is actually quite moisturising. Peach Puff gives a lovely matte stain to the lips and so it doesn't come off easily when drinking, eating etc and you aren't having to constantly reapply and it feels so lightweight that you easily forget you have it on your lips.

I have the shade Stoked, and the only thing I would say is, check out the testers in store, or Google swatches online, as the colour of the packaging isn't as similar to the actual colour of the product as I would have liked. The actual colour of Stoked is very pretty though, and is a slight pink-toned coral shade which is perfect for this time of year. I have mentioned it before, and I adore anything coral-toned as it seems to suit my lighter skin really well.
