Dr Jart+ Shake & Shot To Go Review

Tuesday 17 September 2019

I first happened upon the Dr Jart+ Shake & Shots whilst on holiday in Orlando last year and I must admit the freaky baby face on the lid kind of put me off, but the assistant in Sephora was raving about them and so I decided to pick one up.
Dr Jart+ Shake & Shots are rubber face masks, and they come in a variety of skincare solutions - firming, hydrating etc and each tub includes a spatula, and two sachets of formula. You then empty both sachets into the tub and give it a good mix with the spatula to create a face mask formula. You leave the formula on for 15-20 minutes and the mixture turns into the weirdest, yet so satisfying rubber jelly-like mask, moulded to your face.
I have tried tonnes of face masks in the past, as they are definitely one of my favourite skincare treats as they are so quick and easy to use, but these are definitely in my top three favourites. My skin just feels incredible as soon as I remove the mask once it has set, and they are so hydrating on the skin, that I was gutted last year when I had only picked one up in Sephora.

However, I recently discovered them online at Look Fantastic, and even better, they come in a set of two - you receive one Rubber Hydro Mask and one Rubber Firming Mask. The duo costs £16.00, making them £8.00 each, which isn't the cheapest face mask around, but certainly not the most expensive either. Plus, because I find them such good quality, I find that I don't need to use them as often as other face masks, as the results seem to last longer.
I haven't tried any other products from Dr Jart+, but I definitely want to after loving the Shake & Shots so much. There is also a Soothing version of the Shake & Shot Mask, which I am 99% sure was the one I got whilst in Orlando. I am heading back there in December for two weeks, so I may take a trip to Sephora and try out some of the other products.

You can find the Dr Jart+ Shake & Shot To Go Duo online at Look Fantastic here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
