Morphe x Jeffree Star Collection Summer 2019 Review + Swatches

If you come here often, you may know how much I love Jeffree Star Cosmetics, and when I saw he had a new collaboration with Morphe, you know I was going to be picking it up. The Morphe x Jeffree Star Collection consists of an Eyeshadow Palette, an Eye Brush Collection and a Set & Refresh Mist.
The Morphe x Jeffree Star Artistry Palette is very Barbie pink when it comes to the outer packaging, and of course, very Jeffree Star. There is a large mirror on the inside of the lid and thirty eyeshadow shades, which I think is incredible value.
The shades of the shadows vary in colours, tones and finishes, and so there is something in here for everyone, and for every mood, and colour theme. Formula-wise, they are all very pigmented, and I think there was only one or two shades maximum which didn't give off a full colour and coverage payoff.

They all have cool shade names, as is recognisable with Jeffree's products, and it really is hard to pick a favourite shade. The shimmers and metallics are utterly beautiful, but then I also love the pop of colours from Self-Made, Pink Fleet and Nate.
This palette is going to take you through all seasons, as you have your champagnes, and gold glitters for party season, your warmer tones for Autumn and Winter, and some brights, and pretty neutral colours for Summer and all-year round. The Morphe x Jeffree Star Palette retails for £35.00, which I think is great for thirty high-quality shadows and you can find it online at Morphe here.
We then have the Morphe x Jeffree Star Eye Brush Collection, which I must admit isn't as 'Jeffree' as the previous Morphe Brush collaboration. You get a little zipped pouch which is pink and a little plain, and the brush handles are all plain pink, whereas the last brush collection had really cool 3D handles. However, I love their brushes as they work incredibly well and are really great quality for the price.
This collection includes;
* JS5 Crease Kween Brush
* JS6 Rule Blender Brush
* JS7 Double Trouble Brush
* JS8 Drama Crease Brush
* JS9 The Fluffer Crease Brush
* JS10 Diva Crease Brush
* JS11 Blunt Packer Brush
* JS12 Sport Mode Blender Brush
* JS13 Pom Crease Brush
* JS14 Happy Ending Liner Brush (LOL FFS these names)
Some of the brushes were also in the previous collection, which I find a little disappointing as I would rather have paid less and had less brushes, but I guess with eye brushes you can never have enough. Each of the brushes are available separately too, if you don't want to buy one of the collections or just want to try one out before committing.
It is also worth noting that some of these brushes are synthetic and some are natural. The synthetic ones have pink bristles and the natural ones have the cream bristles so bare this in mind when cleaning them. The Collection costs £40.00, with a value of £76.00 and you can find it online here.

Finally, we have the Morphe x Jeffree Star Set & Refresh Mist. Now, this isn't a new product, Morphe have had the Set & Refresh Mist on sale for at least a couple of years now I believe, but they have relaunched it in pink and with a Star-berry fragrance for the collaboration with Jeffree. I was really glad actually as I haven't ever tried the Set & Refresh Mist but I used to see a lot of people rave about it on Instagram.
When you spritz this spray, I love how fine it sprays out, as sometimes you can get near-on drenched with some setting sprays, and I love the fruity scent, although I am not really sure it smells like strawberries as illustrated on the cap. I do find it quite refreshing, but I have definitely tried much more refreshing sprays, like the Omorovicza Queen Of Hungary Mist.
This sets the makeup really well though, and I found that my makeup didn't melt or budge throughout the day, and that is all you really need from a setting spray. The Set & Refresh Mist costs £18.00 and you can find it online here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
