A month or so ago, a brand new Burberry fragrance was released, the Burberry Her Blossom Eau De Parfum, and to be honest it was a little too floral for my liking, but the original Burberry Her Eau De Parfum was sat next to it, so I gave it a spritz and really like it. However, at £68.00 for 50ml, it wasn't affordable for me at the time.
Whilst browsing online at TK Maxx, however, I found the Burberry Her Collection, which includes a 50ml of the Burberry Her Eau De Parfum and a full-sized Burberry Liquid Lip Velvet, which retails at £26.00, for just £29.99! You just know I snapped that up! What an absolute bargain. I am presuming that this was perhaps a seasonal gift set which is why it was so cheap, but the perfume and lip velvet are brand new.
I have tried quite a lot of the Burberry cosmetics line, and the Liquid Lip Velvets are gorgeously soft on the lips without drying them out. Yes, they are pricey at £26.00 each, but it is Burberry. The shade included in the collection is Fawn, which is a beautiful slightly pink-toned nude, perfect for everyday wear.
The Burberry Her Eau De Parfum is the first Gourmand with a British twist by the brand. It was created as a dedication to Her, the city of London, a beautiful, bustling, creative metropolis, which is vibrant, bold and full of life. Her features base notes of White Woods, Musk and Dry Amber, with heart notes of Jasmine Accord and Violet Accord, finished off with top notes of Blackcurrant, Blueberry and Raspberry.
It is quite a fruity fragrance with a hint of floral and a lovely woody, musky base, and I just love it! You could wear this perfume for any occasion, and with it being an eau de parfum rather than an eau de toilette, it has a more concentrated formula, meaning you only need a couple of spritzes to last you through the day.
Individual retail cost for the Burberry Her Collection would be £94.00 and I paid just £29.99, so I definitely got a good deal here. It is often worth having a weekly browse online at TK Maxx as they have premium beauty brands for low prices. You can check them out online here.
