e.l.f. Glow Gleam Beam Highlighting Palette Review + Swatches

Monday 21 October 2019

I was recently online checking out the e.l.f. eyebrow product range as I was ordering some to try out (spoiler alert - post coming soon haha!), and came across the e.l.f. Glow Gleam Beam Highlighting Palette, which I thought looked stunning and so I of course added it to my basket to try out and let you guys and gals know my thoughts on it.
The e.l.f. Glow Gleam Beam Highlighting Palette comes in Light and Dark, and so I went for the Light as I have fair to light skin and it costs £10.00 which is a very good price for a six pan highlighting palette. The e.l.f. packaging is very cheap looking and very cheap to feel, and I have often had items where the packaging has broken very easily.
I know, it is a budget brand, but when I am paying £10.00 for something, I don't want it to break right away, and other value makeup brands have much better looking and much better quality packaging. That's the negative out of the way, let's go onto the positive...
The Glow Gleam Beam Highlighter Palette has six stunning highlight powders, featuring three finishes;
Top Left - Cream Glitter
Top Middle - Champagne Shimmer
Top Right - Peach Shimmer
Bottom Left - Pale Champagne Metallic
Bottom Middle - Peachy Metallic
Bottom Right - Light Bronze Metallic
I love that due to the different finishes, and of course shades, you can really create different looks for different occasions with this palette. The formula is buttery soft, especially the metallic formula, and applies to the skin beautifully. The Light Bronze Metallic is a little dark for my cheekbones, but it makes for a really pretty eyeshadow.
The quality of the actual product here is second-to-none, and I would recommend this palette all day long, and even though it has flimsy packaging, on the upside, it is very neat and petite and so doesn't take up tonnes of room in your makeup stash.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
