Profusion Cosmetics Stardust Collection Review

Thursday 7 November 2019

I must admit, that I am not normally a fan of makeup gift sets, as the makeup tends to be cheap, and the tools even cheaper and poor quality. However, when I spotted the Profusion Cosmetics Stardust Collection, I knew I had to have it! I have used Profusion Cosmetics many times, and have featured them here on my blog before, so I knew that quality was going to be there.
The Profusion Stardust Collection comes in a gorgeous iridescent lilac gift box, which has lots of iridescent lilac glitter and sequins inside the lid. The lid opens to reveal 24 eyeshadows, featuring colours which will take you all year round, and with different textures including glitters, metallics, shimmers, mattes and satins. You also receive a double-ended eye makeup brush too, none of that sponge applicator rubbish here!
There are also two drawers that pull out of either side, one holds a blusher brush (which I am not so keen on), a highlighter, a light pink blush, a peach blush and a light bronzer. The other drawer contains a black eyeliner, pigment adhesive, eyeshadow primer, a pot of glitter, two pots of pigment powders and a matte liquid lipstick. That totals 36 products - and this gift costs just £15.00, which works out at around 42p a product!
I also think this would suit most ages, whether it be a young girl who goes to dance classes and needs makeup on the go, a teenager, someone around my age (35), or younger and older. At this price point, it also makes a gorgeous gift, making it look like you have been far more generous than you actually have, and works out around the amount of money most people spend on Secret Santa gifts.
With the bronzer being quite light, along with the pale champagne highlighter, the cheek products probably aren't going to be suitable for all skintones, however, that is really the only kind of negative I can pull from this gift. The shadows are stunning, and there is such a collection of colours that can give you complete eye looks as well as something a little different. They are not the most pigmented in the world, when you look at the likes of Urban Decay and so on, but they work really well and I found there to be zero fall out!

You can find the Profusion Stardust Collection in-store and online at Boots here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
