I am terrible when it comes to cleaning my makeup brushes, so I always like to have plenty to hand. I was recently sent the Revolution Ruby Crush Brush Collection, which makes the perfect Christmas gift, either to a friend or even to yourself.
The collection comes beautifully packaged in a red glittery box, which is very festive, and inside you receive five full-sized makeup brushes. Each brush has a metallic red and glittery handle and they are lightweight, so that they don't feel heavy whilst you are using them. The first brush you receive is a powder brush to apply loose powders with, such as setting powders, and the bristles are super soft, and dome-shaped so that you aren't applying too much product at once.
The next brush is the staggered face brush, which to me looks like a rose the way it is has been created and this can be used to apply and blend foundation into the skin. There is then a delicate fan brush which you can use to apply highlighter to the cheekbones, brow bone, tip of the nose and the cupid's bow for a touch of glow.
The two smaller brushes in the collection include a fluffy brush, which is an excellent eyeshadow brush, and then an angled eye brush, which you can use to fill in the brows, or even to apply eyeliner - I love a multi-use product. The Ruby Crush Brushes are all vegan and cruelty-free, and I love that they are thinking of the environment and enabling their products to be accessed by a wider audience.
