I always get so excited for a new IT Cosmetics release, because their products do exactly as they say they do. As well as amazing cosmetics - their CC Cream is my favourite foundation - they also have a whole host of skincare and their newest release is the IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep Skin-Transforming Pillow Cream (they do tend to have long names!).
The IT Cosmetics Confidence In Your Beauty Sleep Skin-Transforming Pillow Cream (£43.00 for 60ml) comes in a dark blue glass jar complete with silver lid and even the packaging feels luxe. This moisturiser works overnight, when your skin cell turnover peaks to improve surface cell renewal through exfoliation. The Pillow Cream features IT Cosmetics' Rest & Restore Technology, visibly improving five of the top signs of ageing - fine lines, wrinkles, dryness, dullness and lack of firmness.
It is only in the past year or two that I have been using both a daily moisturiser and a night time moisturiser, and it really does make a difference. With this being a night cream, you would apply onto the skin every evening after you have cleansed, toned and if you prefer, used a serum. The Pillow Cream is suitable for all skin types - I have dry to combination skin and this has worked a treat for me.
The cream itself is a light lilac colour with a cream/gel-like texture, with a slight fragrance of lavender, which I find very relaxing, especially at bed time. The gel-like formula feels very fresh and hydrating on the skin and contains hyaluronic acid, which I am sure we all know by now, adds moisture to the skin and also keeps it there throughout the day - or evening. Even from the first time I used the Pillow Cream, as well as feeling soft immediately after application, my skin felt so much smoother and hydrated in the morning.
IT Cosmetics do say that after just 7 days, your fine lines will diminish in appearance - however I cannot personally comment on this as I don't have any fine lines. I am 36 years old and have found that this has definitely helped the tone and texture of my skin, whilst also keeping it well-nourished and cared for.
