NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk Review

Tuesday 2 February 2021

I don't know about you, but when the cold weather rolls around, my skin hates it! I get super dry skin and it really gets quite uncomfortable at times. When I was recently sent the NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk* (£33.00), I couldn't wait to try it out as particularly my legs and arms need all the moisture and nurturing they can get at the moment. NeuroSkinFeeds is a new brand to myself, and as always with new brands, I like to find out what they are all about.

NeuroSkinFeeds was founded in 2017 by leading Spanish counsellor and addiction specialist Tatu Cutillas, who discovered that there is a strong connection between what you put onto your skin and your mood, which is something I also learned a little bit about when I did Beauty Science in college as some essential oils and ingredients can have either a positive or negative effect on the skin and mind, and when blended with other ingredients. And don't we all need a little mind positivity at the moment?!

There are just two products which have been released from the brand, which only launched publicly in 2020 - The MicroOil for the face and The MicroMilk for the body. As mentioned, I was kindly sent The MicroMilk, essentially a hydrating and ultra-light body moisturiser which can be used daily to keep the skin nourished, hydrated and silky soft. This ingredient-led moisturiser includes antioxidant-rich camelina sativa seed oil which has a calming effect on both the mind and skin, helping to restore the skin's natural barrier.

I have quite sensitive skin during the colder months and The MicroMilk also works as an anti-inflammatory, calming sensitised skin, whilst adding moisture and even boosting the immune system. The formula also contains cannabis sativa seed oil +1% CBD, which super boosts the skin to regenerate sensitive and tired skin. As the moisturiser is also rich in vitamins A and E, it deeply moisturises and improves the skin's structure, whilst relaxing it along with the mind, and therefore absorbing product better. As well as using it for dry skin in the Autumn and Winter, it is also a great product for the warmer months too as it uses aloe vera to hyrate, soothe and cool the skin, reducing any itchiness to leave it feeling soft and smooth.

The MicroMilk comes in a 250ml bottle which also features a push-down applicator, which I find much easier for applying body moisturisers with, and whilst it doesn't have an overly strong fragrance to it, you of course get that natural aroma of some of the ingredients, which I find very calming and slightly spa-like. Therefore, my skin now feels and looks so much better, and I enjoy applying it before bedtime to help me relax.

You can find the NeuroSkinFeeds The MicroMilk online at NeuroSkinFeeds here.

All the Loves,
