Iconic London Ultimate Bronzing Powder & Bronzing Brush Review

Thursday 11 March 2021

Due to lack of holiday (thanks Covid), my skin is super pale right now and most of my bronzers are a little too dark for me at the moment and so I was on the look out for a new lighter bronzer and stumbled upon the new Iconic London Ultimate Bronzing Powder and just had to give it a whirl!

The Iconic London Ultimate Bronzing Powder retails for £25.00 and you get a good-sized pan so it is priced quite well in my opinion. The compact has a large mirror on the inside of the lid and then the product in the bottom. There are six shades to choose from and I went for the lightest, which is Light Bronze. Even though there are only six shades, I do find you don't need to be exact with a bronzer and the darkest is quite deep, so I imagine the majority of skintones could find a good match.

The formula is lightweight and buttery soft with a natural matte finish, that still gives the complexion glow, without the shimmer, which is what I prefer in a bronzer. The silky, finely milled powder applies easily to the skin, effortlessly warming up the complexion without any muddiness. As the formula is so lightweight, it doesn't look powdery on the skin and it has fast become one of my favourites. I even find that it works well without foundation for those days when I want a bit of warmth to my skin, but I aren't having a full makeup day, but it works just as well over foundation, without moving the product.

There was an offer on at the time I bought the Bronzer and so I also picked up the Iconic London Ultimate Bronzing Brush (£26.00). I had seen the Brush on Fleur de Force's YouTube video and it looked lovely and I think you cannot beat quality brushes when it comes to makeup application. The Ultimate Bronzing Brush has a long tapered rose gold handle, which has a small amount of weight to it, and a dense, fluffy brush that is silky soft and applies the bronzer seamlessly. I don't often buy makeup brushes as I do have a good amount, but I am so glad I picked this up as it will last me years. It has a slight domed-effect on top and so it applies the bronzer evenly across the face without leaving too much product behind.

You can find the Iconic London Ultimate Bronzing Powder and Ultimate Bronzing Brush online at Iconic London here.

All the Loves,
