Revolution Liquid Powder Pore Blurring Makeup Serum Review

I suffer with enlarged pores, and no amount of skincare can change that, so I did want to try the Farsali Liquid Powder Serum but at £50.00, I found it a little steep. Once again, Revolution came to the rescue with one of their newest releases, the Revolution Liquid Powder Pore Blurring Makeup Serum* (£10.00 for 19ml).

The Revolution Liquid Powder Pore Blurring Makeup Serum comes in a pretty pink frosted glass bottle, complete with pipette applicator so you can dispense the product easily. This innovative pore blurring liquid to powder serum is perfect for those who have combination or oily skin. It has a lightweight and comfortable formula (not at all drying on the skin) that helps to even out the complexion, mattify the skin and blur out the pores.

It is infused with pink clay to help the skin stay matte for longer and rose extract for skin-calming benefits. If you have dry skin, then this is not the product for you, in my opinion. But if you have combination or oily skin, this is going to help mattify the whole complexion, so that your foundation applies better to the skin and you don't get any oiliness later on in the day, which can often ruin the appearance of your foundation.

To use the Revolution Liquid Powder Pore Blurring Makeup Serum, you apply a few drops to your skin and blend in with your fingertips or a light brush. You then leave it dry for a couple of minutes and you can immediately see and feel the difference, mattifying the skin. You can then go ahead with your foundation, or if you don't want makeup on that day, but still want a more blurred, mattified complexion, then use it on its own.

I tend to suffer from an oily T-Zone, but have drier patches on my cheeks, and so I just apply this to my forehead, nose and chin and it has honestly made such a difference. As usually, towards mid-afternoon, my skin is always super oily in that T-Zone area, but it hasn't been since I have been applying this Serum. I will go in with a hydrating serum or primer on my cheeks to even it out.
