I do love a new Lush product! One of their most recent releases is the Lush Lime Bounty Body Butter* and oh my goodness if smell-o-vision was a thing, you would get why I am so in love with this product.
The Lush Lime Bounty Body Butter retails for £9.00 for 100g, and so you get quite a lot packed into this little jar and it is such a thick, luxurious and nourishing body butter that a little goes a long way. If you ever had the lime Opal Fruits/Starburst, depending on your age, it just reminds me of that - all of the sweet lime goodness without any acidity to the scent.
There are little flakes of soap on the top of the product when you open it, reminiscent of coconut, which kind of makes it look like a dessert - it certainly smells like one. Even though this is a super nourishing, rich body butter, there is no greasy or oily residue left behind and it sinks into the skin straight away, which is always a must when I am choosing a body care product as I hate waiting around for things to dry - especially when the weather is cold.
Key ingredients include Persian Lime Oil to tone and refresh the skin, Extra Virgin Coconut Oil to soften and soothe, Fair Trade Shea Butter to moisturise and act as an emollient and Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to moisturise and protect the skin. This plethora of skin-loving ingredients help even the most driest of skins, to look and feel so much better, and of course smell heavenly too!
