As I have mentioned previously, I do watch mainly American beauty You Tubers and one brand that kept catching my eye was Kosas, however it isn't a brand that is readily available here in the UK, apart from on Naturisimo. The website Naturisimo is home to some of the very best brands and products that are ethical, both good for you and the planet. When they recently asked if I would like to try something from their website, even though they have SO many amazing brands, I knew I had to choose Kosas.
The first item I chose was the Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing Powder* (£32.00 for 9.5g), a super soft and sheer setting and smoothing powder that is baked with skincare actives that help to rid the complexion of shine. As this is a baked formula (made in Italy, no less!), this is super lightweight on the skin and really does feel as light as a cloud. There are ten shades available and I opted for Feathery, which is for light to medium skin tones, as I wanted this to be able to take me through the summer months as that is when I need a powder the most. Key ingredients include Bamboo Stem Extract to help absorb excess sebum, which is great for mattifying oily and combination skin types, Passionfruit Leaf Extract to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and moisturises the skin without clogging, and Chinese Peony to mattify and help detoxify, drawing out impurities to help reduce the appearance of pores. I have very much combination skin, and my cheeks are dry, and my T-Zone is shiny as heck, which is why this product has worked so well for me - as it has moisturising properties to it, I can still apply it on my cheeks without it causing further dryness or clinging to my dry patches, and as it mattifies, it keeps my T-Zone oil-free throughout the day. I would highly recommend picking this up, it is such a beautiful powder to use and due to it being super lightweight, this will be amazing in the warmer months.
Just like the Cloud Set, the Kosas The Sun Show Moisturising Baked Bronzer* (£32.00 for 6g) comes in a pretty, frosted matte compact, which is recyclable. There are three shades available - Light Soft Bronze, Medium Golden Bronze and Deep Warm Dark Bronze and so I have the Light Soft Bronze as I have fair to light skin. This is such a beautiful bronzer - it has a similar talc-free baked formula as Cloud Set that is formulated with hydrating Shea Butter and Meadowfoam Oil to leave a silky-smooth finish that never looks chalky or dry. This bronzer does have a glow to it - not a shimmer, but a glow, which I prefer as I like to leave shimmer for my highlight. You can go in as light or as heavy as you like with this bronzer as it blends seamlessly into the skin, so it doesn't look or feel heavy on the complexion. The key ingredients, Shea Butter and Meadowfoam Oil are great for soothing and softening the skin as well as moisturising and plumping - I just love that there are skin-loving ingredients within this product as it isn't something you often get with bronzers and setting powders. I think bronzer can really amp up your complexion, especially if, like me, you are naturally fair skinned as even in winter you can create a glowing warmth to the skin, applying it to the cheekbones, nose, along the top of the forehead, jawline and collarbones.
The final product I was excited to try is the Kosas Wet Lip Oil Gloss* (£26.00 for 4.6ml) in the shade Jellyfish. There are four other colour options to choose from, but I thought this pale peach looked super pretty and it goes on quite clear, so you can use it with or without other lip products. It comes in beautiful baby blue packaging (my favourite colour), and has a neat, petite curved flocked applicator, so even if you have fine lips like mine, it is super easy to control and not go too far above the natural lip line. The Wet Lip Oil Gloss is a deep hydration treatment and gloss in one, with a non-sticky formula that glides onto the lips effortlessly for a soft, comfortable feel. The formula contains Hyaluronic Acid to attract water and lock in hydration, Peptides to stimulate collagen production, Evening Primrose Oil to regulate hormone fluctuations to maintain plumpness and protect against environmental stressors, Avocado Oil to cushion and deeply hydrate while improving collagen production, Konjac Root to create a gel-like barrier between the lips and the environment, sealing in nourishment and Shea Butter to provide deeply hydrating collagen support. That is one heck of an incredible line up, and therefore your lips are left plumper, healthier and well-nourished, as well as looking pretty too.
All the Loves,
