The Best Ecooking Body Duo

 This post contains gifted items.

Ecooking is a brand that was created by Tina Sogaard, after she struggled with her skin due to a personal crisis. She bought raw ingredients and started to mix creams, serums and oils on her kitchen table. In just a short amount of time, she saw visible results on her skin and the products soon became popular with friends and family who noticed the results. Word soon spread and Ecooking was born, a Danish skin care range that is rich in organic and natural ingredients that does not compromise on effectiveness. Ecooking is based on honesty and transparency, which is why all of their product labels show precisely what the products contain.

Now that the sunshine has finally made an appearance, it is super important to take extra care of the skin, after being out in the sunshine, our skin can become damaged and/or dry. One of my favourite go-to body scrubs is the Ecooking Body Scrub 01*(35 Euros for 350g), a scrub that is filled with natural and organic ingredients that moisturise and nurture the skin to make it soft, healthy and smooth. The formula contains natural Sicilian salt that removes dead skin cells, which otherwise cause your skin to look tired, dry and grey. Dead skin cells are also known to absorb creams and oils so they aren't able to serve their purpose of providing the skin with moisture and care. Another advantage of using a body scrub is that it activates your blood circulation and therefore the natural rejuvenation process of your skin. the Ecooking Body Scrubs are suitable for all skin types and come in three fragrance stories - 01, which contains Orange, Lavender and Rose, 02, which contains Citrus, Violet and White Pepper, and 03, which contains Jasmine, Grape and Orange Flower, so as you can imagine, they smell incredible. Along with natural Sicilian salt, the scrub also contains natural Vitamin E, a strong antioxidant that protects the skin against free radicals and adds moisture, organic Sunflower Oil, Argan Oil, Shea Butter and Almond Oil as well as natural Kukui Oil to provide the skin with intensive moisture and care to keep it smooth and soft throughout. I like to use this once a week, and a little goes a long way, ridding my skin of those unwanted dead skin cells, to make way for smoother, moisturised and healthy skin.

There are many amazing body lotions and creams to choose from, but my favourite has to be the Ecooking Niacinamide & Hyaluronic Acid Body Lotion* (30 Euros for 300ml), which comes with a pump dispenser, which I always prefer as it is more sanitary. With the Ecooking Body Lotion, the brand have taken the philosophy and ingredients from targeted facial skincare and applied it to the body, so that this way, the body will get the same effective care with results that are easily noticeable. This particular Body Lotion is suitable for all skin types, but specifically for those who want to retrieve the elasticity and glow of younger skin whilst reducing cellulite and the looseness that comes with age and it is easily absorbed through the skin. The formula contains Hyaluronic Acid, which moisturises the skin and works in the deeper layers of the skin to provide the skin with the Hyaluronic Acid and Collagen that we lose with age and it is a unique booster that fills fine lines and wrinkles. The second key ingredient is Niacinamide, also known as Vitamin B3, to help the skin reduce the signs of fine lines and adjust the structure of the skin. The lotion contains a high content of Niacinamide (5%), which helps to improve signs of cellulite, age spots and pigmentation whilst giving the skin a healthier glow. Along with these two powerhouse ingredients, other nourishing ingredients include Organic Shea Butter, Organic Argan Oil, Organic Glycerin, Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Cucumber Water, Natural Vitamin E and Natural Sunflower Oil. So it is a very hydrating formula that is not highly fragranced and soaks into the skin effortlessly. I like to use this on an evening after a bath, but you could of course use it both morning and evening, and again, a little goes a long way with this product. Pair this up with the Body Scrub, and your skin will feel baby soft and highly nourished.

You can find Ecooking online here.

All the Loves,
Kathryn xxx
