I Heart Revolution are always releasing super fun collections, and one of their most recent is the I Heart Revolution Tasty Coconut collection, and so I picked up a few of the products to try out and share my thoughts on them...
First up, we have the I Heart Revolution Tasty Coconut Primer (£10.00 for 30ml), which comes in a frosted glass bottle with a pump applicator. This Primer offers all the hydration of a serum whilst prepping and priming the skin before your makeup. The formula is infused with skin-loving coconut extract to hydrate and recharge the skin and the coconut scent reminds me of summer! It has a very lightweight feel to it, and is instantly hydrating on the skin with a texture which is much more like a serum than a thicker primer. It is definitely a treat for the skin!
We then have the I Heart Revolution Tasty Coconut Conditioning Mascara (£5.00 for 8ml), which comes in super cute pale pink packaging adorned with coconuts. The Mascara has a soft, rubber bristle applicator which helps to create length, separation and subtle volume to the lashes. The formula is infused with Coconut Oil and Coconut Extract to help promote lash growth when used consistently and of course, it has that sweet coconut scent to it. I have quite sensitive eyes, and I don't find the scent or formula irritates my eyes and it makes for a great everyday mascara.
A product I never knew I needed until I tried it is the I Heart Revolution Tasty Coconut Brow Oil (£5.00 for 5.7ml), which comes in packaging similar to the lip gloss rollerballs you used to get as a kid. This Brow Oil is infused with Coconut Oil and Coconut Extract and is a nourishing brow oil that helps to maintain healthy brows and yes, of course it smells like coconuts! To use, you simply glide the rollerball over the brows as the last step in your evening skincare routine to nourish and hydrate the brow hairs, enabling them to look healthier. It is so easy to use, and really helps to condition the brows.
There are three shades of the I Heart Revolution Tasty Coconut Lip Gloss (£4.00 for 2.2ml) to choose from - Coconut Sugar, a subtle candy pink, Coconut Cookie, a subtle 90's brown and the one I have here, Coconut Meringue, a subtle pinky-nude. The Lip Glosses are super hydrating and not at all sticky or gloopy on the lips, so they are very comfortable to wear. The formula is infused with skin-loving Coconut Extract and they give a semi-sheer colour to the lips and yes, they smell of coconuts! The sponge applicator is quite narrow and precise, so you can apply it in seconds.
The final product I chose is the I Heart Revolution Tasty Coconut Hydrating Fixing Spray (£6.00 for 100ml). This Fixing Spray instantly revives and hydrates dry skin from the very first spritz and also helps to set makeup into place. Infused with skin-loving Coconut Extract to hydrate and recharge dry skin, the coconut scent will instantly remind you of your favourite beach holiday. You can use the mist at any point in your skincare routine - post cleansing to avoid moisture loss, before your serum to amp up hydration or of course over makeup to prolong the wear. It is a lovely, light and refreshing mist.
