I haven't tried anything from Iconic London for a while but have had my eye on the Iconic London Silk Glow Duo for a while, so I recently picked it up when I was placing an order on Look Fantastic as there was a really good gift with purchase offer.
There are two colour options available for the Iconic London Silk Glow Duo, and both are beautiful, but I chose Rose Glow as it seemed to match my fair to light skin tone the most. The Duo comes in a gold compact with a mirror on the inside of the lid and then two really good sized pans of product. The Duo retails at £30.00 for 12g and as mentioned, you get plenty of product for your money.
On one side of the compact you get a beautiful blush and on the other, a luminous highlighter and this clever compact features a gel-powder texture that delivers a glossy shot of radiance and flush of colour in just one sweep and it never looks powdery or cakey on the skin. The buttery soft highlight and blush are both packed with pearlescent pigments and combine the smooth finish of a liquid highlighter with the weightlessness of a powder to deliver a seamless blend for that lit-from-within glow.
The blush is a very pretty rosy pink which does have shimmer in it and the highlighter is light champagne gold that also has shimmer in it. The ultra fine formula smooths and skims across the skin for a soft-focus, diffused sheen to the skin. Key ingredients include Advanced Smoothing Crosspolymer, which is responsible for the luxurious silky texture and enhanced slip that makes for such a seamless blend, and Skin Conditioning Agents such as Coconut Oil to hydrate and Hydrolysed Rice Protein to provide a silky feel to the skin.
The other colour option, Coral Glow features a bright pop of coral blush and and a deeper gold highlighter, and I would love to try that one too!
