The L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipstick Review + Swatches

Saturday 17 February 2024

So I bought one of the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipsticks, and then I had to buy every other shade because I was that obsessed. So today's post is my review on my current favourite lip product, all ten shades of it...

This looks a little excessive, I totally get that, but as someone with sensory issues and thin lips, when I find a lip product that I love and that works insanely well, I like to stock up, plus Boots had a 3 for 2 offer, so it was obviously a sign. The L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Resistance Liquid Lipsticks retail for £11.99, or sometimes cheaper on Amazon, and you get 5ml of product. There are ten shades available here in the UK, but I am sure there were more shades available in the US when I was over there in December. Why do I love this product so much? The main reason is that the formula is really thin, but really well pigmented, so I can't feel it on my lips, but you can absolutely see it, and it lasts so, so well, through eating and drinking and talking and crying. 😅 It doesn't feel dry on my lips, nor restrictive and tight like some matte lipsticks can, and that's what I don't like about some matte formulas.

Another reason is, they are affordable - a third of the price of a high end liquid lipstick, but just as good if not better performance wise. The packaging is nice and sleek, and the outside colour reflects the colour of the product, which I always appreciate when rooting through a makeup drawer. The applicator is a sponge in the shape of a teardrop, which makes applying the product easy and precise, even on fine lips like mine. The tiny pointed tip allows you to line the lips before applying it all over too, so you don't even need a lip liner.

Shades include:
100 Fairytale Ending - a light, pinky nude
115 Snooze Your Alarm - a terracotta nude
120 Major Crush - a darker pinky nude
150 Lazy Sunday - a warm medium plum
200 Lipstick & Chill - a cool-toned medium pink
230 Shopping Spree - a deep pinky nude
245 French Kiss - a bright pink red
300 Sunbathing - an orange toned red
400 Spill the Tea - a darker pink red
420 Le Rouge Paris - a classic blue-toned red

I have a lot of lip products in my collection, but recently I have reached for one of these shades nearly every single time. They are reliable, well-performing, comfortable and affordable - what's not to love?

You can find them online at Boots here.

All the Loves,

  1. I needed this review of L’Oreal’s Paris Flawless Shiny Resist Liquid Lipstick. An enhanced selection of ideal shades is made very easy by the help of examples. At last I can direct the search for the best law dissertation help uk without worrying about my lip gloss running!
